We have had the strobe dewy tint in Australia for maybe a year and I came to the same conclusion as you, it needs to be mixed into a foundation or as an undercoat. I’m a similar colour to you and found using it alone made me feel pearly but it’s $10 cheaper than Charlotte tilbury flawless filter here and found the undertones of this better for me.
The skin tint makes your skin tone looks very even and the dewiness actually gives a youthful look!(but I do agree it looks even better with studio fix on top)
Loved the video, dear Rebecca, and beautiful products, again, love that blush, it's subtle!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩Yes, it's an overload of releases, for me than. I also love to look what did i purchase 3 years ago, 2 years ago. For me, not you, of course dear Rebecca, but these companies go so fast! But you did it again!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏And everything looks super beautiful on you!!!! Sending you lots of love!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yes! What is up with 6 month shelf life? I had no idea. I have the previous formulation of mono shadow in beige mitzah and it also says 6 months omg I had no idea . I think I’ve had it for 1.5 years ?! I thought it was at least good for 12 months … mine looks ok though and smells ok and is so soft so I dunno … 🤷🏻♀️..
I’m telling you, as long as everything feels normal and smells normal, it’s fine to use. Others disagree with me but maybe I’m just a risk taker ha ha. I just know that when something is wrong with the make up, trust me, you will feel it and smell it
I couldn't wait to finish the video before leaving a comment. I got the pink lilac blush yesterday and I love it 😍. I also got the dior addict lilac shade. These shades are not my usual go to, but I'm here for it.
You looked so pretty!! ❤❤ The skin tint was nice and would be great under a matte foundation❤ The Dior blush was GORGEOUS!! I am only getting Guerlain lip oils so, I will skip the Dior one. I have a bunch I have and love though. The Rose Tulle shadow was so pretty! I (really, honestly do not need any more any makeup, but here we are) will get the Dior blush🩷 You are a gorgeous gem that really, really makes my day❤️❤️
Hi lovely Rebecca !! Loving the one and done shadows Dior Mitzah single is stunning I think it’s 658 , used up mine but need to repurchase with this 6 month shelf life 🤷♀️ certainly not long enough to use it up for the money . I really like the two cool tones you used . As for the Tint it’s an easy pass for me personally. Great demo and swatches 🤗❤️
I tried the Mac TM yesterday and didn’t love the way it felt on my skin. I bought the new serum foundation. Finally found a great Mac salesperson to match me to N12. I agree it could be a primer or mixer.
Starting the video, but, I have to comment on your haircut, Rebecca! So cute, fresh and on trend!😍My 28 year old daughter just went about collar length and it’s so much lighter and swingy👍🏻Now, back to the video!
This is an excellent excellent question. How could it hurt? But maybe it would make the shadow hardpan more quickly? I would love to know the answer. I think I should ask Vic from mob beauty
Hi Rebecca….cool tone army here 😁 love the Pink Lilac. I bought all 5….the lip glow oil, lip glow, lip maximiser, the blush and the dior addict lipstick. However i do agree the lip oil is pretty much like the pink or clear versions. The eyeshadows were lovely on you and i love Dior but for some reason I’m more obsessed with wanting the Chanel ones. The MAC strobe dewy skin tint was ok but yes its basically just a dewy primer.
Yes. This is skin tint and the lip oil are kind of just OK and that’s about it. I can see that as a an officer in the cool tone revolution army, you would enjoy the pink lilac blush
Happy Sunday hunny! Love this whole look. I just wish the Dior lip glow would be more lilac in pigmentation. Maybe try the Dior Addict in 391 Lilac with the lip oil on top. Loving that MAC I enjoy a dewy look, just use a concealer maybe? Love your reviews..have a lovely day 💕🫶🏼

Good morning Rebecca and Happy Sunday!🎉🎉🎉 Proud to stand up as a member of the Cool Tone (d)? Revolution!😂😂😂 I purchasedthe Lawless lipplump in Lavender during the Sephora sale ! The shadows are pretty too but I am not in the market and takes alot for a shadow (palettes primarily)to excite me!! Ty Rebecca🎉🎉🎉
Hi Rebecca, I'm not here for that Mac tinted moisturiser as an alone base product either. Its too dewy looking for me. That Dior Pink Lilac blush looks pretty, but I don't think its come to Australia yet for me to see in person. Instead I just went through my collection and I have an alternative for the Cool Toned Revolution army of which I'm a member. The Clinique Cheek Pop blush, while not new, the shade Pansy Pop which I own looks very similar . Its also buildable but looks to have a little more oomf (is that a word) to it than the Dior which comes across as very sheer on camera. I hope that helps some members as I know @PinkSparkle is always on the lookout for something more "purple" toned when it comes to blushes.
I am hesitant but exited about the lilac blush. The one that is baby pink turned fluorescent peach pink on me. I think because of the color adjuster in it. I really dislike the color adjuster in these products most of the time because I am so fair. But this looks really subtle.
I love that I (we) have a theme song. It makes me feel so special. Especially as I was gaslighted by someone who claims to be cool-toned, but pronounced that purple blushes turn pink on cool-toned people. All cool-toned people. Not with me- they are 100% purple on my icy, fair skin. Lieutenant here.
First of all, Lieutenant, we are honored to have you here and we salute you. Secondly, I am trying to find a more suitable bugle song for the cool tone Revolution Army. But you are well represented here and your troops await you.
So many of the single shadows are in Dior palettes so I can’t think of a reason to buy a single especially with the short shelf life. I am not a large palette person. I like the mix of dewy and matte and a mix of thick and thin.
I am the same as you. Lately I don’t think I do an eye at all. I do more cheeks and lips so having less shadow is fine by me. But yes. We recognize all of these shades
I love MAC foundation products. I always have. I had no idea they had even released this product. If I go for this, it would be as a primer. I love the Cool Tone Revolution Army sound effect!! 😂😂😂 Nooooooo people have really had trouble with the new 6 mos shelf life with their Dior powders? Gah!!! I just bought both of their newest quint release in the baked gelee formula (pastel something and coral something). I’ve been using them like crazy, and they are beautiful, but I didn’t think they’d REALLY only last 6 months. I would have bought zero of them had I known that (or picked one at the very most) 😠 If these truly cannot be used next spring as well, I’m done with Dior powders. DONE.
So far, I have to stay for the record, my six month shelflife Dior products have gone much longer than six months and are doing fine. But, unfortunately, I do hear from others that that is not the case. But I am unaware of how they have stored theirs. The cool tone Revolution Army has a sound effect. I don’t know if that’s the one that will stay but it definitely needs a sound effect of its own. Some sort of a trumpet or bugle
thank you for setting the record straight about this mac product! i was in macys and i was remarking to the mac employee how small this item was for a skin tint. I stated that if you used this consistently you would go through this in a week. They told me you don't put a ST all over your face. um... what?? they argued that this is a highlighter glow product that you use as a primer or HL. Again , what?? You are marketing this as a skin tint though? So needless to say I don't even think mac employees know what this is supposed to be for.\ I saw another influencer with fair skin use the dior and there was no pigment lol! it is still so disappointing how much dior quality has changed
It’s funny you should say this as I called a few different different Mac stores to find out if this was a new release here or a reformulation because I knew it had been in Europe for a while. And they were entirely confused about the product. It was wasted phone calls
Rebecca, would it not make sense for companies to rethink their product sizes now that with clean beauty items will expire quicker? I don’t mean to be funny, i only have one face, just because the product is expiring quicker i can’t put more on. Hence a smaller size and adapted price (!) would make sense 🤷🏻♀️
I agree. It’s logical. I would like to pay a little less for a little less product. I would love to actually be able to finish a product. That feels really good. I think it’s entirely logical. I doesn’t look like anyone else agrees with you and me on the business side of things
I very much see these singles as having a battle with the chanel ones and the chanel have 18m shelf life. Does the average consumer look at shelf life I wonder? Or is this very much a thing they would assume would last them a year and then will cause disappointment. If so that is a risky strategy.
The makeup industries are inundated with too much product in my opinion. All they need to focus on is making 3 or 4 homeruns and people will buy them again and again. I know that sounds boring lol but the brands that stay around forever are brands that have stuff we cant live without.
