@@Maximus20778 it's true, injectors and fuel lines can get clogged if not used at full power for very long times, as well as seals and stuff too. You don't need to floor it all the time, but it's good to let a car stretch it's legs every week or so.

Well, the sound of this Dino V6 is to me one of the best ever. And also in the V8 upgraded variant, it was a great engine. But the Dino 206 itself is something really gorgeous
Nice gearchanging! Good to hear you feeling the gears in going up the box and matching the revs on downchanges too. Fabulous car, well driven. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely adore the Dino. I still remember the first time I saw one; a yellow 246 GTS with the targa top at a small Cars and Coffee in Pennsylvania. Literally could not stop staring at it as a 10 year old kid.
The 206 only existed due to Italian Tax Laws at the time, as cars with engines 2 litres capacity or smaller were much cheaper to tax than cars over 2 litres in capacity and they were all made in 1968. The engine was also used in the Fiat Dino coupe and spider (around 4700 made between 1966 and 1969), though the engine was in the front.
206 exist because of Formula 2 homologation requirement. FIA regulations at the time stated that F2 race engines had to be based on production car engines and in order to homologate the race engine 500 road cars powered by that unit has to be produced within 12 months (65-66). Ferrari being a small manufacturer didn't have the capacity to do so and hence came into an agreement with Fiat for the production of the engines and development of road cars. But yes Italian 2.0L tax threshold did exist for the domestic market.
