i have a younger brother, we had a very rocky relationship because we were polar opposites, he was a honor roll student getting into ivy league colleges, i was deep in the streets bringing guns into the house, this is one of the things that inspired me to fix my relationship with my brother and im so grateful i did. The parts about his brother are so incredibly powerful and moving mainly because they’re not just empty words, he meant each and every word he said from the bottom of his soul, when they showed Sterling crying looking up at his brother while Shannon was talking, it was like you could see their whole lives growing up together as kids all the way up to this very moment playing out in Sterlings eyes. It’s moments like these that reinforce the notion that sports is arguably the greatest unifier across any border or boundary that we as a human race have created thus far, maybe ever.
