Wild Rainbows - Ozark Spring Creek Nymphing in Winter

Another great winter day on a spring creek fly fishing for wild rainbows. They weren't very big, but they were beautiful. I caught trout in nearly every pool I fished and had the whole stream to myself all day.

Nice job on both videos. I have been busier than usual this summer but hoping to get on that creek very soon, anxious to see what all the rain lately around there has done for better water levels now! I too have thought about using the leader sight system, just need to bite the bullet like you did and start learning it!

I imagine there has been some serious water moving through there, but I haven't been back since this last winter either. I am really excited about the leader system and will be trying it on other local waters hopefully in the coming months. I think it will produce more fish based on what I've read, watched, and now briefly experienced. Thanks for watching!
