at 12 miles a gallon thats over 3,00 miles on a fill up ,you can pretty much go anywhere and not have to stop for diesel

I have looked at hundreds of videos, I've been to a few exhibitions too and I can say that this machine is incredible. A 6x6 chassis, 255 gallons water capacity, 230 gallons fuel, 14 Kw generator, 500 Kg rear storage platform. Plus German engineering and craftsmanship, you just know you are looking at arguably the best on the market today.
Seems a bit overly fiddly though. 6 separate air hoses? multiple fuel points, mutliple water points, 4 separate batteries, 4 separate pumps... How about ONE place to fill and the tanks level each other? At most two battery systems. Then there is the fact that every one of those compartments is keyed and also it looked like 4-5 screw downs. How about a bit of automation where you can master lock/unlock?

@@redwolfexr separate locks for security reasons and no electronics, because when those brake in the middle of Africa nobody will be able to repair it, a lock you can pick if need be.
Too much automation is not as good and it’s too american 🥴

Measurements are in my interest? I did not hear the length, height, weight? How long is the estimated range with those fueltanks? Quite long if the fuel consumption is around 35-40l. Of course it depends of the total weight and the surface but still the estimation. I hope you add this information. Thank you!

Could you also tell us about the solar panels (there are more than your other trucks), the exterior cameras on the side, the IR camera in the grill, what's hidden in the compartment next to the stairs and what do the other two button next to the stair controls do? Sorry, lots of questions...

I would recommend a few improvements (besides the audio balance in the video) in regards to the adjustments in tire pressure and suspension (not sure if there's optionals for those). I would also consider more security options if you're going to call it an adventure vehicle and might need some extras in 3rd World countries or some "bad areas" in the 1st World.

Yes it is, First you open the black door on the outside, then the generator is in the silver box inside. so its fully enclosed.

The shock absorber adjuster should be via a cable to a dial on the dashboard (like racing and rally cars do). Having a little bleed nipple type screw above the wheels (which could become caked with mud) is just plain silly for a vehicle costing hundreds of thousands of Euro.

Falls nicht, also ich hab da nen super Plan für nen Büro mit allen Faxen, leider ist die Größe 12m mal 2,70 (Höhe 3m) (Außenmaße) ziemlich enorm, daher meine FRAGE an euch: Welches Fahrzeug könnt ihr mir empfehlen, um diesen Schiffs- Containergroßen Koffer outdoormäßig zu transportieren. Gewicht: ca. 10.000-15.000 kg. Thank you. Der Anhänger darf 100 cm Höhe nicht überschreiten, damit die Gesamthähe unter 4 Metern bleibt.

Hi Thomas, I am curious to know if you have ever considered a Tatra 6x6 chassis? The independent drive axles with a central load-carrying tube seem ideal for an expedition vehicle. Another question if I may... Have you ever considered adding a locking system to prevent the cabin from swaying when transiting on a highway (or otherwise smooth paved road where frame twist is not a problem)?

Sérgio André simple. Network of dealers, parts, tools needed, I was in field artillery for 6 years in the field. Fixing vehicles on dirt is a major pain, going to retrieve the parts could take days, waiting on parts from Germany can be time consuming, battery plugs are in euro sockets not USA. Ordering special tools waiting. Etc etc. it's survival. The vechicle for Europe is total kick ass looks awesome but I wonder what the emissions would be in the states , would it pass 50 state DOT regulations? I could go on but I'm good
Warren Kelly, So you should know that MAN is more than well represented in the world (more than 180 countries) and in the USA too, right? It is no coincidence that the military buy them(not only us)!
the military had hundreds of thousands of MAN (Steyr) vehicles will all be replaced by those of MAN, right? As for emissions, do the USA respect the EURO6 standard? Or only the euro5 of that vehicle? Not all continents produce diesel for EURO6 engines! Now, if this vehicle was built for an American it would not have those electrical plugs with European regulations! On the other hand, how many CUMMINS engines are from MAN? Same for the ZF gearbox, this German company is well-established in the USA, the new ford raptor has the ZF transmission, idem for Chevrolet and Chrysler! The Germans do not only equip the US Army with pistols(sig sauer), missiles, satellites! Also hundreds of thousands of vehicles or engines, be they MAN, SCANIA or Mercedes-benz! Now, whoever leaves the US with an American pickup does not find any parts to repair on the planet ... I also went military for 20 years, in various conflicts in Europe, Africa and Asia, I know the shit that is VOLVO/MACK/RENAULT!
