    Extremely impressive demonstration of the abilities of a Scandi grind. TC please put on eye protection, take it from someone who lost an eye when they were a kid, if you lose a finger you got nine more , Take away 1 eye you’re down to half vision. Anytime you need gloves, probably need safety glasses too. Allen

      No it did not that one surprised me. One of my first jobs in the eighties when I was young. Was brick Mason's helper. Sometimes they'd have us cutting bricks with a brick hammer. If I only had a condor knife LOL

      Ty,I bought one a few months ago, love it,curly maple handle scales and 1095 scandi grind,blade thickness is 5/32 I believe for better crafting as well as food prepping.

    Let's see you test the Case Nebula in MagnaCut. That way to can shut down the naysayers' claims that Case cut corners during the Heat Treatment for this knife. But if you are scared, you can try to ignore this comment.

  • @FreedomFox1

    I thought Scandi grinds were supposed to be more fragile?

    • @TCB2Country122
      @TCB2Country122 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They can be, but it really depends on the blade geometry, the steel used and how thick the actual grind is. In this case all of them prove to be advantageous to perform extreme cutting tasks with ease. The edge on this scandi as with many had a slight micro-bevel helping as well, none the less, this blade took less damage in these tests than any we've tested so far.

      @FreedomFox1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TCB2Country122 Thanks, that makes sense, especially since that is one heck of a thick knife. And now that I look at it, my Hori Hori has a thick scandi grind, so I guess they can be tough!
