It was so great to catch up with Matt and Lisa and to see that they are still rocking life in their amazing tiny house! The additions they have made have drastically improved on an already fantastic home. That outdoor living area is totally dialled in now and this home unquestionably has the most impressive solar set-up we've seen so far! We hope you enjoy this revisited tour! With Love, Bryce & Rasa
Theirs is a lovely, exceptionally well-designed tiny house that makes Matt and Lisa happy and feel comfortable right along with their delightful companions. Thank you so much for this revisit Bryce and Rasa. Phenomenal job as usual, and your enthusiasm is contagious. Cheers, my dears!! 💐💐
Their tiny house is among several of your videos that I keep coming back to, and it's so nice to know that it's still out there and is getting better and the owners live happily in it. Thanks a bunch for the update, Bryce & Rasa. Stay safe and healthy!
Back then most viewers criticised this couple, and commented that this guy seemed miserable in this tiny space, and people even accused her to be a freeloader because her area of studies were "dead end" and wouldn't result in a high end job? So I'm very glad to see that these two are still together and still seem happy. It's also very nice to revisit older tiny houses to see how have people evolved down the road.
i remember that particular threat, but also that many were plain worried for the guy since he seemed to be totally henpecked with her doing almost all of the talking. of course its impossible to tell the dynamics of a relationship based on such short glimpses, yet they appear to be far more equal and harmonic these days. it gives me hope that their relationship will continue to grow and is meant to last.....and i´m curious how their tiny house will evolve, especially if kids come along.
Criticizing somebody based on one short visit is tricky; definitely too vague to get the real picture. Revisiting the tiny houses, especially after a longer time, is a great idea because the time really shows all the potential mistakes, miscalculations, etc. In this particular case, the only miscalculation was the strength of the cliff wind, which forced them to rethink how to cover their porch. Nothing else changed because it was optimally designed and served well as intended.
@@xpsxps1339 The couch changed too, lolol And yes feeling like criticizing anyone based on short observation can never be helpful, nor from longer observations actually. Wow. I could not be more proud of Matt and Lisa - firstly, for building this phenomenal home. Secondly, for coming back on the show after the harrowing experience of thousands of strangers vocally judging their relationship, and especially deriding Lisa, when they came onto this channel to share this beautiful house that they are both so rightly proud of. And yet here they are, both turning up to give us access to and updates for their amazing build again! Legends! A charming hilarious couple, with a charming, hilarious sense of humour, and a charming, hilarious dog son.
So nice to see a project that has sustained the 3 year mark and the changes along the way. We can learn a lot from this. Nice work. The only disagreement is the comment about induction cooking over gas. I have had induction over two years now. It is amazing. Super easy to work with and respond quickly to temperature adjustments. I have used regular electric and gas cooktops, induction is far and above the best. Not sure why this is not the standard way of cooking. Love your channel. totally agree with this. Especially since people who have been doing it longer are going to have more to say about what worked and didn't work for long term living.
Revisiting the tiny houses you've shown earlier is super exciting! They've got a very large deck space decorated with fairy lights under the roof, which can be used for lounging, partying etc. Then the skylights in the house and lofts with an ability to stand is no more than a luxury for a tiny house👍🏻 The best part is that they've got so many furries, never a dull moment🤩😍

I just need to commend the B-roll that this channel always provides in these videos. It's easy to miss just because of how natural and seamless it is, but there is a shot for almost every single thing they're talking about in their conversations. This is honestly the hose that made me believe that I could live in a tiny. It's so well done, efficient and beautiful and it's even better now that they have a real couch. LOL.
6:00 Look at that awesome dog training! I’ve only seen my daughter train with moves like that with her large Eastern European German Shepherd. Very nice work! Awesome too to see this couple and their pets again. Congratulations on three years you guys!!

My favourite comment from Lisa was when she was referring to the heater : “this thing cracks!!!” 😊 ya can’t get any more Aussie than that!!! Love Lisa and Matt love their house . Wish them nothing but love and luck in their journeys ❤
I like the new roof on the deck and with the bar added it really makes that area more livable/usable. And being able to stand in the bedroom - wow! So much to like in this stunning home!
i remember geeking out hard about the catio on this one. I love the focus on the animals here. The pupper and kitties look so happy and loved. The new front porch area looks amazing!
Was just reminiscing on that cat enclosure, always thought that it was a unique design AND idea. An astounding design with shipping containers, now with solar to run the home and water heater! Certainly a dream of mine to have one just like it.💗
These revisits are super valuable because seeing the same small house a few years later gives those of us who are still planning our jumps get to learn what works and what doesn't. Please keep doing more revisits and please ask people what things worked and didn't work since the first visit. Also, include a link to the first video. Such lessons learned are super valuable.
c'est certainement, la plus belles tiny que vous nous présentez! style, finition, dépiollement, entourée d'une belle nature, exposition, ...!!! et ce couple a l'air si discret et sympa... ils aiment les animaux, en plus!!!
It was a fantastic structure the first time around. Now it seems even better, not just because of the improvements but because they seem to be much more comfortable and settled in.
They are much more at PEACE and not stressing out was how I felt Three years ago. He is so relaxed. They seem so much more happy. I am thankful to see how they have grown. Congratulations Lisa for finishing school and working part time at home and at work. A true pleasure seeing you again. I love your home. I could go tiny living in a home like yours. I love you can stand up in your bedroom. Glad to see more solar. Maybe next compost tolite. I need a room for crafting and sewing. Love your new porch cover. And espically the cat outside adventure room. Thank you for having us come back. See you next time with pool and spa/hot tub. Pond for the dog and fishing. CHOW FROM S E MICHIGAN USA 🇺🇸
My wife and I have been watching your tiny home videos for a while now, and we love them. One thing that we would like to see are a few on a topic we haven't run across in your channel: Tiny home living in a true winter climate. I'm not talking cold rain. But snow and ice for months on end. Like here in Minnesota. How well does a tiny house handle constant sub-freezing weather? How can it be designed to do so? Your videos are lovely, but they almost all seem to be set in temperate/subtropical climates.
This. I question how some of this would work in a truly winter climate. They were boasting about their fire place and I looked at it and thought "that's cute..." It was so small lol
@@joecoolmccalloh man, it's not the size but the efficiency! My dad only heats his house by wood. Has for nearly 40 years. And since moving to a smaller, more efficient wood stove, uses less wood and gets hotter much faster. You can even set the air intake and flue just right so it doesn't burn out of wood overnight. His is still a wood stove too. Pellet stoves or corn husk stoves are also impressive in their heat output. Tiny doesn't have to mean cold!
I love everything about this house - from the spacious interior to the catio out back. No wonder this couple is one of the few to continue living in their tiny home for several years!
Still my favorite after all this time. I expected they’d change the sofa. Love the new outdoor space, solar & love the landscaping. As I recall they have multiple acres. It will be interesting to see how they continue to adapt. Thanks so much for revisiting this one. Best tiny house ever✌️❤️💚

I really like this video revisiting Matt and Lisa in their tiny house. One of my favorites. They have tremendously improved their place, and the cats have grown bigger too!
I loved the first video of this house. It looks even better now. And I'm glad they talked about changing the sheets. I always wonder when a mattress takes up a whole loft, how to people change the sheets. This was great. Thanks Bryce!
I recently watched Tiny House Giant Journey: Living in a tiny house stinks sometimes. She was reviewing her own tiny home living gripes. Her home is tinier far than this one in the video here, but one of her gripes was the acrobatics needed to make the bed in such a cramped space. The others were about limitation of guests, indoor smells, and having to explain to every guest how to use the composting toilet properly. lolol
@@louisegogel7973 I love to watch Tiny House content here on TH-cam. Personally however, I could never do it. I know it's terrible but I will always prefer a flushing toilet. Also my clothing and hats could have their own tiny home, as could my treadmill and other exercise equipment. Spouse loves a king size bed, and we are both packrats. Tiny would never work for us. We need MORE closets, a LOT more closets, cabinets and since we are always at war over the rights to our ONE bathroom, any future home will need two bathrooms. AT LEAST. And a gym, for me. And a man cave/music studio, for him.
@@SusanSlattery Lol… I hear you. And there is a saying of, never say never. That said, I would like to keep my baby grand piano in any place I go, so that really cuts the tiniest tinies down. I think a medium house is fine for me, and I do have a wardrobe for the varying weather of New England… from over 100’F summers to below -20’F winters, and anything from calm to wind and sunny to storming. Any tiny house of mine would be ROUND to offset the weather properly and maximize the space inside.
@@louisegogel7973 I live in the Northeast US and I have all kinds of clothes. I used to have far more winter clothes than summer clothes, but I really built up my hot weather wardrobe in the last few years.
I loved this home when I first saw it. The new outdoor cover makes a huge and great difference to the home for the better. I'm glad the dog is being trained. And that the cats can still go inside and have time with their humans 😻 Looks great.
I love this tiny house. This was one of the first tiny houses that I've seen in 2019 which made me get interested in tiny homes. Their design is sleek and clean...no clutter which is unlike the other tiny houses.
THIS house has ALWAYS been my favorite!! The standing room and walk around bed and huge windows in the bedroom loft and that luxurious bathroom are simply exquisite!!! I did shade sails over my swimming pool, but designed them for quick take down, as we ALSO get WIND! THANKS for the gorgeous update on my DREAM TINY!!
How wonderful to see this tiny home again! I love this couple, they are interesting and I love all the adjustments they made after some time seeing how to adapt to the environment. Matt really fell in love with Lisa, made her a home and he loved it also that he can’t see himself living in a house. I’m impressed with his skills and I wish I could afford his services if I ever can afford a tiny hove. Beautiful couple and stunning home and family!💋

What an absolute joy to revisit this home! I remember this man as a genius in construction - and oh does this home look it. The catio caught my imagination then and it does now. Everything about this home is priceless. Thank you for the revisit to see where it has now gone. ❤️
Their home is absolutely stunning!! I love the deck and I love that they were able to raise the roof to allow for standing up straight like normal when on the top floor. Great job guys!! One of the top 5 picks of Tiny Homes in my opinion.
Wow Matt and Lisa's home truly doesn't disappoint. They live in a beautiful part of NSW and their home is just immaculate, I haven't seen a tiny home that looks like that. Their bathroom is beautiful they have accommodated for all their furbabies and that to me is just fantastic. I'm so glad you revisited their home to see what they've changed, can't wait to see their pool.
So glad you have such a beautiful, comfortable space for you both. I still remember the comment on the original post about “If you need help blink mate.” It made me chuckle but also with the realization how could anyone really know your relationship from a You Tube video. Still an absolutely stunning design with cool changes. I love the sentiment a bit heart breaking to tear out something you’ve built. You both seem incredibly thoughtful. Thank you for sharing and opening yourselves up again. I am already looking forward to I hope another update in the future to see again how your thoughtfulness has played out.

What a fantastic place built by a very impressive couple. I really like how they put a great deal of forethought and planning into their ongoing life experiment and adapt accordingly, constantly improving.
This tiny home design was/is unforgettable. I love it. If I were to ever go tiny, I would want my tiny house to be this intelligent, functional and beautiful design. Also, I'm very glad to see that Matt and Lisa are still together as a couple. I was wrong about them staying together. I'm glad to be wrong about that. It's interesting to see how much Matt has adapted to tiny house living. I still believe that most tiny houses are too small. Maybe not this one. But most appear to be to minimalist.

It's fantastic that after 3 whole yrs they are happy in this tiny home. I love and adore this amazing design. It's one of those rare designs I just can't forget. I love the clever use of space in the closet area and that bathroom is to die for. Also, this was the first tiny home I had ever seen that you can stand up and walk in the bedroom. Sorry for the long chatty post. My son tells me I write too much in my posts. Lol
@@wendyweaver8749 Those comments really made me lost hope in the humanity. They also remind me how misogynistic we are as a society. @@est9949 agree - she was just excited because it had been her dream for a long time and he was able to help it come to fruition. I remember the 1st video. Covid has really been a time warp - can't believe it's been 3 years! It IS a great tiny house!
PLANDEMIC!
I really loved their home the first time around and it's so nice to go back and see how things are going. Really enjoy these revisits.
Thanks Bonnie!
We get another revisit after the pool arrives. Got it?
@@sharonloomis5264 Sounds good to me!
The link would be great.
c'est certainement, la plus belles tiny que vous nous présentez! style, finition, dépiollement, entourée d'une belle nature, exposition, ...!!!
et ce couple a l'air si discret et sympa... ils aiment les animaux, en plus!!!
Out of all the dark kitchens, this one has been my favorite for years. Having the skylights helps.
Gorgeous home.
Looks very relaxing.
I can't believe they are still together. Wow.
It was a fantastic structure the first time around. Now it seems even better, not just because of the improvements but because they seem to be much more comfortable and settled in.
They are much more at PEACE and not stressing out was how I felt
Three years ago.
They were boasting about their fire place and I looked at it and thought "that's cute..."
It was so small lol
@@joecoolmccalloh man, it's not the size but the efficiency! My dad only heats his house by wood. Has for nearly 40 years. And since moving to a smaller, more efficient wood stove, uses less wood and gets hotter much faster. You can even set the air intake and flue just right so it doesn't burn out of wood overnight. His is still a wood stove too. Pellet stoves or corn husk stoves are also impressive in their heat output. Tiny doesn't have to mean cold!
Green Nature, quiteness n peace of mind makes a great home. The upgrade of this house is fantastic.
I love everything about this house - from the spacious interior to the catio out back. No wonder this couple is one of the few to continue living in their tiny home for several years!
Its good to see they are still together. I fell inlove on this tiny house 3 years ago.❤
Hello
Wow seems like only yesterday you visited their house. That Solar 😍 cheers for going back guys xx
I know right!? Time just raced by.
Its so nice to see this couple still together in their improved tiny house. Its obvious what they are saying about the house is true, its an oasis 😊
Double WOW on my favorite tiny house! I didn't think it could get better. And congrats on the cutest puppy ever.
Beautiful dog. Great focus and obedience. And he is a rescue. Great job! Oh, and the tiny is still beautiful especially with all the changes.
Thank you we’ve worked really hard to make him the best boy he could be ❤
@@lisatranter3618you've done a fantastic job
And love all your garden work, you really have created a dream house in a dream location with 🐈🐈 and 🐕 ♥️
That is an extremely well trained dog! Love the house too
Love it 3 years ago. Been watching it multiple times. Still loving it and its additions. Still dreaming living in a tiny house like this. ❤️❤️❤️
Yay! My favorite LBIATH couple and house! So happy to see that they're still doing well!
This is one of the most clever tiny homes I've seen. I love how they're using tech to their advantage. I'd definitely live in a house like this.
Rewatch the 2019 once a year, just to remind myself how perfect THL can be. Fantastic to see that the design proved right and that it's holding up so well. Thanks for revisiting!
One of my favorite designs! Absolutely beautiful.
Wow, Lisa and Matt's home is as just as beautiful 😍 love they added the porch....adds so much more space....you have your dog house on there and it's awesome when it rains and the dog house isn't in the mud....the sofa looks so comfy....can't wait to see what you do the next time...your babies are beautiful 😍....Be Safe Be Blessed
I really like this video revisiting Matt and Lisa in their tiny house. One of my favorites. They have tremendously improved their place, and the cats have grown bigger too!
Hello how are you doing today
I loved it then. I love it now. Thanks for the re-visit.
You're very welcome!
No way 3 years!! All right I need to start building my tiny!!! Please keep visiting tinys new and old!! I love this!!
I can’t imagine living there that’s absolutely stunning.
Hey Deborah 👋. you took the words right from my mouth!! How do you do? Are you very active on TH-cam? Or you make your own videos ?
This was my absolute favorite home - thx for returning to it (love that the cat run remains!).
Love seeing a revisited Tiny House … happy to see more of these!
It's very interesting to see how people adapt to living in a tiny.
So nice to the reunion episode. I love tiny homes & a good update!
This is one of my top 5 favorite tiny homes ever and so happy with the solar improvements....was very excited to see this follow-up --- thanks so much!
✨✨🌞🌞✨✨
Great to see a revisit to any tiny house, but especially to one of my favourite ones featured on the channel
How nice they shared their home again and with their new dog!
oh yes a pool would be amazing next to that house^^ the design is great!!
Wow.....I can remember...and it's just still perfect....great ideas ... lovely space , colour and design...
C Hopwood - There were a lot of negative comments - about Lisa in particular - posted under the original home tour. Lisa is not nervous or anxious in this video, so it is easy to see how warm and comfortable they are with each other.
@@wendyweaver8749 Yes, and some people, like me, are extremely uncomfortable in front of a camera and even more so on video! My computer cams are all taped over, lol!
They're still together!? Mind-blown
One of my all time favorite houses on this Channel. They really do have everything without losing a thing.
Really well designed, beautiful materials, and LOVE the higher BR ceiling!
Fab house and amazing property. Great to catch up with Lisa and Matt. I hope you are okay Lisa, I just read that people said mean things about you in the past. Remember that's their stuff not yours...so I hope you don't lose that energy and positivity for life that you had In the first video...Matt is LUCKY to have you!!! The house is both of yours, not just Matts! Couples bring lots of things to their relationship as I'm sure you both know, and money is just one element of that! xx
Oh, I always loved this home and couple ! 💕 Thank you for revisiting 👏
Blast from the past...TQ Bryce & Rasa for creating Living BIG in a tiny house.....TQ Matt & Lisa for allowing us to revisit your beautiful tiny house.
Nice to see these folks again! Beautiful home! Thank You Bryce and Rasa💜
This remains one of the best looking tiny houses ever featured here! ♥️
So lovely to hear Matt loves his home , we know Lisa does cause she was the most vocal in the first episode but it seemed like Matt wasn’t that keen , but 3 yrs latter wow the difference is noticeable well done , i would love to show off my tiny house but i am in a caravan park
Bryce does those too. I look forward to seeing yours♥️
Hello how are you
That was the first house that I have seen in this channel 3 years ago 😊 I was 8 months pregnant and watching your show made my days so much easier ❤
The sails were super cool. Too bad they didn’t work out, but the new covered deck looks more practical.
As much as I love their home and property, the best part of this - for me - is how happy their rescue dog is.
Great to see this tiny home again. Love when your revisit homes you have shown before Bryce!!!
Don't know where this house is but it is lovely and so chill.
What a lovely couple and pets!
Wow, they've made it even better, and I'm so happy for them! I wish them many, many happy years there.
What a joy to see Matt and Lisa again and this wonderful house.🙂
It's so great to see an update. This house was a true game changer. I love the additions and that they are still tiny
BEAUTIFUL...Dog 🥰
But seriously, could this tiny house be more beautiful?! And it's owners seem so lovely as well.
So wonderful to see Matt and Lisa again, I remember seeing this tiny home 3 years ago and I love all of the changes that thye have made to make it even better than before, that outdoor living space is a game changer, and it is so great that the cats still have their outdoor area and they can come inside and hang out as well, it is also incredible that their sleeping loft is tall enough to be able to stand up in that space. Thanks so much Bryce and Rasa for visiting them again and sharing this wonderful video, stay safe and happy, sending love and hugs, bye!! 😍😻💜💟

Out of all the tiny houses on this channel, this one always stuck out in my mind 😍 So beautifully made and a true inspiration!
So glad to see Matt and Lisa doing well. Still my absolute favorite tiny house. I love everything about it. And now with the new cover over the patio, and the dog....perfect. Thank you for sharing. ❤❤
Absolutely love this series, would love to see more of this,"revisited"
See how people are going with their tiny houses, what has worked and what hasn't.
Would be a great insight for those planning on going tiny in the future.
What a lovely home they’ve built. Thanks for revisiting their home, Bryce. Love the improvements they’ve made! The deck looks so much better and more secure somehow. A great outdoor spot to sit and work from or entertain guests. Love all the landscaping as well! Truly a tiny house that’s sure to not make you miss a large city house.
I love that we are back here! 😂😍
What a fantastic place built by a very impressive couple.
I really like how they put a great deal of forethought and planning into their ongoing life experiment and adapt accordingly, constantly improving.
My fav tiny home and my fav tiny home couple. So glad things are still going great. It's such an adorable lifestyle.
Nice to return to previous homes and find out what changes they do etc..
Beva Lee - There were a lot of negative comments - about Lisa in particular - posted under the original home tour. Lisa is not nervous or anxious in this video, so it is easy to see how warm and comfortable they are with each other.
Indeed, there were. But, she seems very much at ease in this video interview. And Matt seems like he's really embraced tiny home living.
These two were kind enough to let us into their home for us to see their tiny house design ideas, not for personal life/relationship analyses. People really have no sense of basic social boundary.
@@est9949 agree - she was just excited because it had been her dream for a long time and he was able to help it come to fruition. Also, the time constraints when editing for flow, etc. often mean that one person gets more "air time" then the other - so it's not reasonable to assess a relationship based on an edited video that's 10-15 minutes out of their entire life.
This is one tiny house I could definitely live in. It is the best of both worlds with very few compromises. Great to see it again.
Wow! Such a gorgeous home. It still looks awesome & I really like the new porch coverings.
Would love to see more re-visits to many of the most popular tiny houses!
