U r blessed. Last time I visited, ALL the shops, hotels and cafes along the lakes were shut down, all 3000 of them until they have proper waste water disposal before discharging water into the lake. The water was pretty polluted and govt officials who were corrupted were caught and punished. They reopened only after everything is done properly and environment and water are protected. Only under President Xi do u get such resolve to kick all these "profit without consideration for environment" businesses out. The locals were so supportive of his work.

Yeah Erhai lake is Amazing, i was there in 2013, it was beautiful then, but looks like more beautiful now since theres no pollution that i can see from the footage, as there was a little back then. Thanks for sharing, it brings back great memories.
