    Nice!
Would you mind explaining when you use the Moog Matriarch for your solos and when you go for the Poly D? Do you have a preference, or is it more dependent on your mood or simply which synth happens to be in the right spot?

@philaesfarewell Hi, and thanks for your comment. :)
Since the keybed of the Moog is much more comfortable to play, I prefer using it for more performance related stuff. The synth also sounds a lot smoother and also a bit darker than the Poly, which sounds more aggressive, especially in the high-frequency compartment. Bit of a taste thing i guess. I love using the D in studio recording environment. Easy to let it sit well in the mix. Nice unit, too, but the keyboard is somewhat more challenging to play nicely - a little too light-weighted for my taste.
On the emotional side: The Moog is more intriguing to me - but it did cost me a lot more money 🙈😆

@@martinpohl2747 Yeah, of course, the keybed of the Poly D is really not the best. There are much worse ones, but you have to consider the price. It's a bit wobbly and light-actioned :-) The keys do look long enough, but they are probably mounted quite far forward. You especially notice this on the black keys. I've even caught myself recording some more difficult passages for the Poly D on my master keyboard during studio sessions because there's just more resistance when pressing the keys, which helps with stability.
      Thanks for the insights!

@philaesfarewell absolutely. But still a very fun instrument. Like the retro Minimoog look too.
