I hunt in SD so I have been in a lot of situations like that pond in a pasture. I have had good success if you have enough black dirt around the pond I wear black from head to toe and just lay in the dirt and set up to the side of my decoys and try to take the focus off me may make little farther shots 30 or so yards but it works well for me not all the time but been the best way I have found,I also hunt solo 90% of the time so lot less to look at, but incase you wanna try that, if you are ever In a situation like that again…..just not a big fan of laying on frigid cow pie filled frozen dirt 😂😂
Thats a good idea, ill have to keep that in mind if were ever in that situation again.
