    The KAWA NINJA "ADDICTION".... has begun for you.
    My own addiction began when I was 9 years old, next to a basketball court in my neighbourhood, looking at this cool rider with a light blue Kawasaki machine not knowing what was it or the model back in '79...the rumble when it roared to life equipped with a KERKER exhaust...ahhh the memories and the feeling, awestrucked to say the least.
    .
    Later in life, then I would know what model it was....a Z1R...cult classic
    11yrs on later, my first kawa bike addiction journey began with the ZX750H1...
    An awesome ride back in the day with the biking scene locally.
    Cool review on the ZXR6, enjoy the ride and emotions it will evoke, cause it's gonna stay with you forever, even when the machine is no longer with you.
    Ride safe and LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!

    I have had my 05 for just over a year. I've ironed out all the problems by upgrading the clocks to 2007-08 model, full titanium Arata system, Nissin brake calipers, 2013+ master cylinder. It really had transformed the bike. Rides more like a 750 than a 600

    • @iand.1752

      Do the calipers just bolt right up to the forks? I was thinking of doing the same.

    I have an 05 as well. Tank of a sportbike. Mine has 33k miles with no need for any engine or trans work. Still has the stock clutch too I believe. I use to track it once and while, one time drove it head first into a guard rail at 40mph, disintegrated the front headlight and most of the plastics, however no damage to fork or frame even the steering head bearings held up. I mainly just use it for commuting now. Flipping the clip ons makes it even more comfortable, rather easy to do on this bike, however this does affect the way the bike handles especially when turning at low speeds.

    I remember in my highschool days, one was at Hyundai salon and I was walking every night through the same street just to see this one- green 636 2005! 2007 is even more pretty expecially cuz I love analog rpm clock.

    Great video. Here in the UK I was considering buying the 2008 ZX6R (I currently own a 1997 ZX7R) as I think it's the best looking, but I'm a bit reluctant because it's only a 599cc & wonder if low down usuable torque will be missed.
    I'm also considering a 2013 CBR600RR as I've heard they are quite comfortable for a sports bike, & even a 2013 Triumph Daytona 675 as I know they have plenty of usable torque for the roads.

      Likewise. I love mine. It is incredibly fun and a practical daily rider due to its engine.

    Great review. I absolutely love the gauge over the 2007 model, few questions
    Is the 2006 model as comfortable as this?
    If no, will helibars tracstar improve the ergos?

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 2006 model is essentially the same as the 2005 in everything but a few improvements to the ECU's shielding and suspension. And different colors depending on your region.
      So they will have the same comfortable ergos as the 05.

    190km city riding is a blessing, I had a 2015 R1 and I could only get 120km with city riding. That being said, I’m considering the 05 zx6r as my next bike and wanted to ask if the overheating of the ecu is common or a something that may happen if you are unlucky.
    Thanks in advance !

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its something not terribly common and more likely to happen only with a combination of factors. Slow speed, stop and go traffic, spirited and heavy handed throttle at high RPMs, and hot summer weather.
      As long as you ride sensibly, and shield the exhaust itll probably only happen if u are real unlucky.

    Hey RP, I just got a used fz16, and realize it's really hard to find guides and info online for it, and small 2b bikes. The UK, US, and Canadian channels all focus on 500cc and above. As a previous FZ16 owner, what are the maintenance things i should look out, or listen out for on my bike?
    Asking this as I pretty much got scammed by a dealership and had to replace the whole carburetor. The dealership workshop insisted there was nothing wrong with it, until my friend brought me to his regular mech who showed me the tuning screw was jammed and almost the entire carburetor was corroded inside. If it was not for my friend who noticed that my engine sounded weird I would never have realized as I am a brand new rider.

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry to hear what happened to you. Generally rule of thumb is to never buy a used bike from a dealer. They’re generally in bad condition. That’s why previous owner’s throw it to them. It’s better to buy direct next time on FB or Carousell.
      Thankfully the carb is probably the most complicated thing on the FZ. Since u replaced it, its pretty much not a problem anymore. If you have a 2009 model with a kickstarter it’s even better because you dont have to worry about a dead starter motor or battery.
      The FZ like literally any single cylinder bike will either work, or dont work. No in between. So its very obvious if theres a problem. If you cannot start it, just test whether engine is getting fuel, air, spark and compression.
      Maintenance is simple. If you can find a manual follow the instructions. Oil and filter change once a year or every 7500km, if you’re paranoid you can change more often if you want. Make sure to keep air filter clean. Its a really simple bike to work with.

    • @jamjc1178
      @jamjc1178 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ReizePrimus Thanks RP, after the mechanic replaced the carb, the engine starting performing much better (no more random stalling while at idle etc). But my engine still struggles to start at cold, i have to hold the switch on for a while for it to start running, even with a spark plug change.
      The mech didn't find anything else wrong, and I was wondering if it was due to the similar issue of the fuel line and carb affected by leaning of the bike. I'm gonna test it out when I get it back from the detailing shop, but I was thinking of bringing it down to another shop if leaning the bike doesn't help, and one of your previous DRZ vids you suggested raptor motorsports, would that be a good shop to bring my fz16 to? Thanks for your advice, you're one of the few channels i'm subscribed to that I turn my adblock off for! Not sure if it helps!

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      jam jc , Raptor unfortunately does not do any bike except the DRZ and a few KTMs so he will be unlikely to serve you. You can try Planet Motor instead.

    Hello, thanks for the great video. I am trying to get the same bike, 2005 zx6r. I was wondering how reliable it has been (since it's been a long time since it came out) and low-mid range power!

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Reliability wise it is incredibly solid with the engine and transmission. Its one bike i generally dont worry about breaking down as long as i keep it well serviced every year.
      Low to mid range power is solid but balanced up to 7-9000 RPM. A quarter throttle can get you to 0-80kph in a few secs easily. It’s not as overwhelming as a 1000cc, but not as weak as other 600cc sports bikes in the low end.

    Im 5' 8" and weigh 130lbs, I have been riding a 2007 gsxr 600 and want an 06 zx6r. Will the weight and bulkiness be too much for me? The bike im riding now does weigh like 420lbs so feel like ill be used to it

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you can handle the 07 Gixxer 600, you will be used to the 05 ZX6R. The seat height will be slightly higher IMO. But at 5’8” it is hardly a problem.

    • @ReizePrimus
      @ReizePrimus  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, i stopped using price as a review factor a long time ago for bikes due to how wildly different they can be in different countries. And also every individual has different income levels. What may be cheap to me could be taking a second mortgage for someone else.
      If i had no money concerns, i would of course have taken the 2013 model instead for the electronics package on it. But at the same time, i’d probably also own a second 2005 model just for the looks.
