That must be for me
Totally false. The beauty standard in the world is the white european model. Every human race bases himself on the white caucasian race. In every country, the beauty model is white european. In africa by example, the beauty standard is the whiteness of the skin. This is why all the black african men living in white countries, date and make children only with women from pure white caucasian race and with a very white skin.

I like France beauty standard as natural beauty. I’ve noticed this must be true based on French movies I’ve seen and I also read a French Besuty editor say the same thing. French women looks chic and their makeup looks natural. As a Filipino American woman, my mother taught me that the most important thing is to take care of your skin and not to overdo makeup. She said makeup is supposed to enhance what you already got, not hide your true beauty. I actually do agree with her. I just turned 46 and people have told me that they thought I was in my late 20s or I’m 30. I’ve always had a baby face and I used to be insecure about it when I was younger but now it’s paying off! lol Thanks to my Mom who taught me at an early age how to care for my skin. It has become a daily routine for me like brushing my teeth. No plastic surgery or enhancement! I just want to age gracefully. THANKS MOM! ❤😊

As a Turkish person, when I was a child I remember I read a text about "Perfect Woman in Turkish Beauty Standarts" in a magazine. This woman had olive skin, green eyes, dark blonde/auburn/light brown hair, broad shouders etc. Also she was tall, 172 centimeters to be exact. And I think this beauty criteria is pretty right for Turkey. Most of us would describe the "perfect woman" like this or something similar. But of course, there is lots of different beauty standarts in Turkey. Some people love dark hair and brown skin, some people love fair skin and light eye colors.

most Turkish man love white skin, blonde hair and blue eyes, the "slavic/russian" type of women... for men it is being tall and "esmer" i think...
@@diofromyozgat I think it changes a lot based on the region people are coming from. That ideal blonde Slavic woman fantasy was definitely something for a long time but i feel like it is not as popular now. Also men's and women's gaze on an ideal woman idea is pretty different. Since i read this article on a female beauty magazine i think it is more about "female gaze" on ideal female.
@@duruhikari it may change for the region but the ideal blonde slavic women is still the standart sadly. Most men love/want white skinned blonde women, thats why many women in Turkey bleach their hair blonde. It kind of became the beauty standart... for female gaze, its different i think. But i really do hate being an "esmer" women in Turkey and while i dont think we are as bad as other Asian countries, Turkish people do prefer white skin on women more, you can even see it on tv show where the actresses are mostly white, even the children who mostly got picked are mostly white and usually blonde
@@diofromyozgat i definitely feel you. Even though i said that this ideal blonde woman fantasy is not as popular it is definitely still a thing. As an Indian, fair skin is much more emphasised here. Big eyes too but also fair skin. They're both disgusting standards but they're prevalent.
Edit: Every TH-cam comment section turns into a war 😭
I'm going to clarify my points:
Fair skin is definitely prioritised here, literally any Bollywood movie will have lighter skin for the heroes because it's seen as beautiful. I'm Indian and my cousins marriages have been affected by their skin tones. India is as diverse as Europe - we have so many different native languages, clothing, festivals, nearly every state is unique. We have monolid eyes in the Northeast, skin so dark people confuse it for Black people in the South (I'm South Indian before anyone attacks me), and just about every other skin tones imaginable in one country, hell, within one FAMILY sometimes.
These standards are in my opinion disgusting because the racism for monolid eyes comes from hate towards China to the point that people from the Seven Sister states faced discrimination during the pandemic. And light skin superiority is a leftover strain from the 200 years of British authority. We're better than both of these beauty standards. Indeed, beauty cannot be measured, and our unity is in diversity.

Thanks for the info!
i'm mexican and the beautiful standar is skinny body. ladies literally fights for being slim the things you say are not true at all
I don't think it's European, I'm saying this as a white European guy BTW.
I just think men tend to prefer lighter colour so lighter skin colour, blonde hair, blue eyes.. whereas women tend to prefer the opposite, darker colour, so darker skin tone, darker hair, eyes.
It's not an 'outright rule', but more of a tendency I have noticed..
@@germansherman7707yeah, I'm also a Mexican and actually what men seem to like the most is skinny body type. Of course, statistics say not everyone likes really thin girls but I haven't met the exception yet lol lol
yeah it's really interesting, I'm mexican latina but am often mistaked for white because I have brown hair and green eyes and fairly light skin. I think it's kind of weird how the culture's beauty standard is based around skin color to a degree, because lighter skinned Mexican models/actresses are much more featured in magazines and movies.
I knew a girl that got a lot of this feats. V-shaped face, curvey body, big/bright eyes, olive/sunkisswd skin, clear skin... Really unique look.
As a german the beauty stadard is "natürlich" or "natural". Meaning make up that makes you look as if you barely wear any make up and you just jump out of bed with glowing skin, looking fresh, awake after your second coffee and your best. Or make up that enhances your features.
In Finland the beauty standards are = light skin, natural hair color, blue eyes, slim waist, thin and shaved body. 🇫🇮 In my opinion it doesn't matter how a girl/woman look like, the beauty is in the inside. ☺️
You forgot a soft and smooth face (the so-called baby face), which means that you don't need to work out all facial fat from the face, because softness is considered to give a youthful and healthy impression. However, some time ago a study was conducted in Finland where guinea pigs were presented with pictures of different people and they had to choose from the pictures the people they found attractive and it turned out that men liked more women with masculine facial features and women liked men with more feminine faces. Choices were also influenced by how much the chosen persons outwardly resembled the chooser's own parents, and the closer the resemblance was, the more likely the person in the picture was perceived to be attractive.
Lightskins are black guys whos skin is not that dark.

I love the France’s beauty standard lol!.
Yes but natural beauties are too hard to find
Agreee❤❤❤❤
For France, natural beauty means : being beautiful without makeup is a gift + less is more.
Visible make up can be seen as "too much", "trashy", or ridiculous. In the head of a lot of people in France, "too much" make up = "hiding a lot of flaws" or "superficial girl", and we call these person "pots de peinture" (paint can), or we say about them : "elle est maquillée comme une voiture volée" (she's made up like a stolen car).
It's not bad to wear make-up either. People who wear make-up may well be seen as taking care of themselves, and many injunctions discourage many people from using make-up. The ideal is often make-up that "looks natural", in some cases.
In France people tend to seek out good quality skin care products, as opposed to makeup. Women will especially buy the best cleansers, toners and lotions to take care of their skin. They'll use very little makeup on a clear, healthy face.
Sounds like a lot of pressure on women. You have to look good, but hey don't look too good because that's vanity, but also god forbid you look ugly!

@@kardamon268 я россиянка, русская, у меня острые скулы, но первый раз слышу-что это стандарт красоты в России) Единственный стандарт красоты, о котором я слышала от разных мужчин, это большие сиськи) Хотя многие еще длинноволосых любят.
In mexico, im not really sure that's true since everyone hates having lice.
And in japan, messed up teeth is also a cute thing.
I found mexican girls so beatiful. Unique beauty
I live in Mexico and it’s a real beauty standard to have long hair, and for me, my mother or father won’t let me cut my hair due to this beauty standard
Oh I have a long hair, but I don't have head lice, you just need to take care of your hair and don't go near to those who have head lice😬
As an Indian, I've big eyes. Thanks for describing the beauty standard of India beautifully.🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 Heartily regards from Barasat, West Bengal, India.❤❤🇮🇳🇮🇳
I don't think its big eyes .
@@whaurproblem3879 Sorry to say. From where're you? Everyone says that I've big eyes like Goddess Durga. Please don't humiliate our Indian culture and also Indian people.
I love how there's no face for Venezuela lmaooo
As a Indian, Fair skin is beauty Standard here because Arranged marriage is still prevalent in the country where your family choose bribe and they like to cherry pick Fair skin women. And TBH it's total bull shit because there no such thing as beauty standard.
Blue skin for Shiva and Krishna
Omg as a filipino, the slim nose one is so true because a lot of us have wide noses lol
As a morroccain we don't actually have a beauty standard since morrocco has quite a lot of different cultures and costumes.
As a student, a lot of students with me are from different regions and are reunited in the same enviroment and the same class. This made us see each one of us as beautiful in their own way, so yeah in morrocco there is no beauty standard cuz as long as you respect us, our religion and our tradition and culture, you are welcomed and loved purely the way you are !
Morocco has no religion no tradition no costumes morocco is just forest with sexual tourism and dirty people if you are kind with Moroccans they will rape you and devour you Moroccans hate each others and steal foreign tourists sir tkawd ya monafik you don't respect anyone racists
Germany: Blonde Hair, Blue Eyes 😬
Japan: "Youthful" features 😬😬😬
Frrrr
I'm Indian and my family members and relative hate me because my skin color dark.... My classmates also bullying me... 😩😔
How can you be hated? In your country the vast majority of the population shares your physical features

Que curioso, arriba de ti escribieron un comentario de India donde dicen que se enfocan en ser justos, que hay mucha diversidad, tratando a todos con amabilidad y alegraría

Bruh, I perfectly fit Turkey, Argentina, Vietnam and Brazil beauty standarts and me saying I was ugly lmao
As a moroccan i wouldn’t say our beauty standard is to dress exotic we dont really have a beauty standard moroccans are very kind and welcoming were just one big family☺️
Plus moroccans look different depending on which region you come from...
I loved the exotic aspect since exotic literally means dressing in the way foreigners would which honestly I just don't believe is accurate.
Every country has beauty standards nor dey cap
Kind ? We all saw what u people did in France during fifa 😐
But dress exotic in morocco would be Lederhosen, Dirndl or dressing like Frau Antje! 😜
In France, it would be a great thing that natural beauty is beauty standard. Unfortunatly, people are being fearful about their appearence, like almost everywhere, I guess. I don't know many people who don't care about makeup or a perfect body. This is very sad, but a person who judges you to feel superior to you is actually inferior. You're all beautiful as you really are, don't let people around you being mean to you just because you have different tastes 🖤

I wonder that i was never heard about thick hair before as a iranian
As an iraqi with big eyes that's so true
as a japanese "youthful appearance" is very true
like some 50 yr old woman looking like shes 20
I'm all the way from Africa and I agree, Japanese do not age their youthful appearance is ridiculous.
