What is the thing on the right side of the trunk at minute 1:19? P.S. I love this channel!! I was born in 1990 and I have never seen those cars when they were brand new, and it's a unique sensation watching them nowadays!! Thank you for posting those videos
From what I have read online, The thinking behind the design was to give you better vision of the kerb when parking, cyclists etc on the nearside with a taller mirror , and better vision on the driver's with a wider mirror to see what's coming from behind on the offside.
My 1990 w124 (300E) has done over 320,000 miles and still going strong. The car's really built like a tank!
Still going strong!
Exactly
That is one fine w124 - it brings back many memories of a fantastic piece of 80’s engineering excellence i drove for a decade.
Superior to many a modern car today too!
Definitely one of the best W124 I've seen so far and that for a very good price! I would really consider importing it to Germany if it would be a LHD.
Thank you
Very nice example, looks like it just rolled of the prediction line!
Thank you

The iconic of Mercedes ☺
Best w124 ever seen
Thank you for sharing!
I've noticed the Mercedes has just over half a tank not usually a KGF antic I'm beginning to wonder why?
Ive got a 1994 320E sportline convertible if anyone is rich, has a factory AMG kit & alloys too
Love these cars, ive had 5
Solid beauty....
Funny thing with these, the passenger side mirror is shorter and taller than the driver side mirror.
Yes, being a Mercedes W124 we expect the decision to do this was very well thought out!

No heater fan demonstration?
Not on this video!
Fun fact: The movement of a females breast while jogging, is what inspired the design of this models suspension.
That's worth 5K
There he goes slamming the car door again
Not this one...
The doors are not being slammed.
Great way to own a Merc for £5k.
With the bio degradable wiring harness and dodgy 5 speed auto...no thanks
Why in the hell you slaming the dor so much?!
hardly a classic ....
it's over 25 years old.
You won't get a Mercedes like this EVER AGAIN
79devo this car will lust for many decades
