Love the beat and the sound... I think I like it even better than the final version!

I remember that they've said a few times that they wrote songs in specific keys without thinking of how Bernard would sing in it, and only more "recently" (like 1986 recent) started writing songs in keys that would fit Bernard's voice. I wonder if this is one of the earliest versions of Let's Go... It could be a Confusion 87 thing though where he's just singing that high to be fun.

awesome -- i wonder if there's a cleaned up version of this (not the 95 version)

Hey, does anybody know where the version is that’s similar to this demo but it’s an instrumental and STARTS with G’s guitar jangling riff and NOT the drums? It’s my favorite one and the only one I keep finding is Hook’s version from recent years… not the same. Thanks 😊

I’m only aware of the 84/85 synth heavy intro with vocals demo and this one, does the instrumental extract version on Retro CD5 ring a bell? th-cam.com/video/vuuBJYot0vo/w-d-xo.html
the drums are in the intro though so it might not be what you’re looking for, it was played live a bit but all the versions i’ve heard sound like the first demo

@@sureispure I believe it’s the instrumental version of the 90s take on Let’s Go (Nothing For Me), like what they played live at the time. Thanks for the link though! I wonder if it’s the one from the Nineteen63 CD Promo.
