- 18 weeks away from IRONMAN LAKE PLACID starts off a bit slow as I recover from a cold and little rest.
I will document my approach to a hybrid method of triathlon training by mixing in CrossFit and strength.

Congrats on your blog, Crossfitter here (coach), also training for my first IM (done 70.3s and olys), I found the hard way that IM should be the main focus and CF reduced to max 1 session per week, I wanted to keep doing it but I realized that when training twice per day, 6 days a week the fatigue on the body was too much, we need to let our body recover and CF aims to different type of endurance. Since then I do open gym, to keep my muscle mass as close as possible to my CF days. Good luck on the journey!

hey john, with regard to your question about why the Zwift workout disappeared.
-Basically one of the automated robo pacers passed you in watopia. What happens with this is when you are a part of a pace group with a robo pacer, you begin accumulating xp points faster because you are "riding" with that pacer. If you don't continue to ride with the pacer, either by passing him/her or you dropping him/her. Eventually your route status will reappear.
