- What if we buffed some of the more primitive technology nations in Europa Universalis IV (EU4), and by buff I mean give them maximum technology in 1444? Selecting a few nations from around the world we will give them max tech and see how the AI handles this new power! One nation from each continent, including some old fan favorites!

The early game nationalism makes me think that it would be really cool if some nations' mission trees gave them access to the nationalism CB early. Prussia, or somebody like that.

@@gengarzilla1685 It is mainly meant as a singleplayer game anyway and if you play multiplayer prussia is always nerfed by the fact that it is brandenburg in the early game and weaker than any major nations.

@@Chewbert Check out Veritasium's video on how clickbait is unreasonably effective. It's actually a good idea to try out different names over a period of time to attract both a focused and wider audience. "EU4 but Natives Have MAX TECH" by pedantry is actually more strongly implying that we'd see African or American countries with max tech rather than what the video is, which is more like "EU4 but some Minors around the world Have MAX TECH".
Try out what works for you.
Personally, I came because I expected a Sunset Invasion (America colonizes Europe), but stayed because it was still a cool video.

In a similar vein, `winwars stays on for a nation if you switch away. Could be fun seeing how much the AI fails to take advantage of instant 100% ws whenever they fight someone
These videos are so great. Although would have been funny to see some 8k vs 40k early game battles from the buffed nations.
You right. Generally with these types of videos what I do is I let it run for 20-30 minutes, come back in and check and see if anything interesting has happened but I'll try to do this in the future!

Here we see a non colonial player. Try going to war with them get like 60% Warscore before they form a new federation MID WAR so you just get whitepeaced.

Persia in eu4 when formed by the ai mostly has the timurid dynasty because ajam does. I guess they do.
I love these crazy games with commentary, I've seen some people doing similiar games but with timelapses, but I like these more

The dip tech advantage makes it easier for the ai with like 28 techs ahead of their opponents easier to peace out and annex land without having to occupy a lot of land

I really hope they do something to AI ability to do anything naval. There are other more annoying examples: Spain/Portugal having their entire army stuck in the new world. England literally never even moving their troops when in a mainland war.

Notably, a wild REPUBLICAN Prussia formed. Seems that Ulm->Swabia released them from Commonwealth, so they took Ulm's govt type

You should give OP buffs (ie. infinite cash, manpower, sailors, monarch power, plus a 999 999 999 999 general is my favorite setup) to all minors in entire regions (ie. all HRE states, all Indian minor nations, etc.)

@@Chewbert a lot of people do believe that the Americas are one continent, and a lot of people also believe that Europe, Asia, and Africa are the same continent, as one of the definitions of a continent is a large continuous land mass, separated from another by water, and the only thing separating north and south America is the Panama Canal, something that is man made, and I don't consider it to be a true separator between Continents, as it's not very wide, or deep
