I Built My Dream Project To Complete Apartment Restoration!

- In this video, I took a bunch of wooden skewers (also may be known as bamboo skewers/sticks), and electric neon wire and made it glow in the dark as a Minecraft Light.
It's a simple but same time quite complex project which requires a bit of patience. If this is strong your skill and you're up for a creative challenge, I encourage you to give it a go!
Main used parts:

I like it partly because it has a sci-fi Borg look. Good work.
Ohh... Making it more like a wooden cube, with bits and pieces removed for effect (to create a wooden Borg Cube lookalike), small holes drilled from those bits and pieces to a hollow center filled with resin and a lot more wire.
The shine would be brighter through those holes to the surface of the Cube.
Also have very thin lines and dots here and there (cut through to the center) for those extra details on the Cube.
It would look like a "dead" cube during the day, but come to life at night.
Instead of a touch control, using a light sensor so that it suddenly starts shining that ominous... Borg_green™ 😅
Glad you did upload again! I wouldn’t have run across it I don’t think. I love the way you put the electronics together. Have been looking for classes where I can learn those skills. Would love to include light as an element in my designs too. The ends of the skewers create a marvelous textural landscape. Great job!!!❤

Nicely done. People dont realize how exsoensive and absolutely incredible that Mirka sander is. Can sand tge finest surface all the way to hogging away wood leveling stairs tread or stripping down a log cabin. The quality is bizarre how good it is along with its other tools and vacuum.

Put a lithium battery in the base and it will run for months on a charge. Add a photo detector so it automatically turns on when it's dark.
You could use it as an emergency battery to charge your phone when there's no power.
A fun project and a great result!
I would enjoy the building but I would have no place to put things I make. The process of making is the funniest part. That is except for running 10 meters through the wood panels.
I'm guessing that you'd retail this piece in the neighborhood of $1,400 USD. Close?

you shouldnt be soldering wires that go inside screw terminals
Yeah bad practice. It's against code here in Australia. Will need to retighten them a couple of times now.
For several hundred milliwatts on 5v network will work fine.

@@oliver9089 Why not? not constantly recycling content is one of the unsaid rules of YT content providers, otherwise they could just do a half dozen vids then keep uploading them every 6 months for more clicks and revenue. They get paid for what they do, and some of them get paid very well, it's part of the system of being a content creator, if they have no new stuff, that's OK, but they don't get paid either.
He has done several re-uploads.
