- I'm a big fan of Wolfgang's music, but he's also an incredibly sensitive interpreter, so it's really hard to play his pieces as well as he does. But sometimes he records something with his baritone guitar or his guitalele, so I can avoid the direct comparison. 😎, as in the case of this beautiful piece.

Lieber Stefan!
Wir sind gestern spät abends von einem Kroatienurlaub zurückgekehrt und während einer kurzen Rast hat Marianne das Handy laut gedreht. Ich hatte keine Ahnung wer da spielt und was das ist. Ich war nur fasziniert von dem was ich da hörte. Erst langsam begann ich zu begreifen, dass es ja ein Stück von mir ist. Du spielst diese Komposition so wunderbar, dass wie im Video wirklich die Sonne aufgeht. Das langsamere Tempo gefällt mir sehr und auch das Video ist so schön. 👏🎶🌻

das freut mich natürlich sehr, dass dir meine Version gefällt. Als ich mir vor kurzem dein Stück mal wieder angehört habe , ging mir die Melodie einfach nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. da musste ich einfach eine Aufnahme davon machen.🙂
Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht es zu spielen, und weil es technisch auch nicht sehr schwer ist, kann man sich mehr auf den Ausdruck konzentrieren. Da tendiere ich immer dazu eher langsamere Tempi zu wählen.
Ich hoffe ihr habt einen schönen Urlaub gehabt und er hat dich und Marianne zu neuen Werken inspiriert!

@@StefanNiggl Great idea, Stefan, you know my style quite well, ha ha. I didn't see this specific piece on his page, does it have a different title? I'll definitely take a look at the music. I'd record this one in the studio garage because it's got that kind of dreamy sustain that sounds good with reverb.

There are also a lot of nice free reverbs you can use in audacity. Normaly I try to avoid the natural reverb of the room, it's better to add reverb later with Audacity.
That was a beautiful rendition of Wolfgang's piece. I have the same problem with his music; hard to get to a level to post on the internet (BTW not just his pieces).

Ich kenne das Original von Wolfgang gespielt, und es ist wunderschön. Zu vergleichen liegt mir fern. Es ist wie eine Rilkelesung, einmal von Brandauer und einmal von Becker. Deine Version, lieber Stefan, ist für mich meisterhaft schön. ❤️

Der Reiz eine Aufnahme zu machen besteht für mich natürlich darin ein Stück anders zu interpretieren. Aber bei den Aufnahmen von Wolfgang ist es nicht selten so, dass er es sowieso so spielt wie ich es eigentlich auch gerne spielen würde, aber nie so toll hinbekommen würde ( Wolfgang ist ja auch Gitarrenlehrer und ich nur Amateur👆)
