The high notes, the vibrato, the facial expression of the Otamatone, it’s all so beautiful. The whole building must’ve felt so artful during this performance.
Basically any instrument can have that emotional depth. You just need a good player to bring it out. Try and play an otamatome sometime. It's definitely not easy to get that sound lol. Fun to play around with though
The reason he hit the golden buzzer was because he tried it out and realized how hard it was to actually play one correctly + adding to the fact that the contestant made the voice sound vibrato was very impressive. Well done !! i am getting an otomatone soon :D

I wanna add that mine is a Neo, and while soooo much easier to play, it simply sounds more robotic. I got my son an original and can at least understand how what he manages to do is possible
No. It only highlights the talent of the sound technician behind the mixing board in the sound room away from the camera. No otamatone sounds like that unaided. There is some heavy post FX processing going on there.

If this git a gold buzzard then they have low standards in Spain and are desperate... if you wanna see this instrument played properly look up “the dooo” on TH-cam... he can play the onholy hell out of this exact same instrument and make what this guy did look like child’s play as well as play tf out of the guitar and piano and outside of all that he has “relative pitch” and knows music theory which allows him to hear any song and be able to play it
As a violist, I found playing this song on Otamatone relatively easy with only a few months of experience- I wish more string players would try, it looks intimidating but you can pick it up just give it a go!

I have no clue what they're saying, but I'm convinced the judge who pressed the golden buzzer is Spain's Simon Cowell.
If this git a gold buzzard then they have low standards in Spain and are desperate... if you wanna see this instrument played properly look up “the dooo” on TH-cam... he can play the onholy hell out of this exact same instrument and make what this guy did look like child’s play as well as play tf out of the guitar and piano and outside of all that he has “relative pitch” and knows music theory which allows him to hear any song and be able to play it

As a violist, I found playing this song on Otamatone relatively easy with only a few months of experience- I wish more string players would try, it looks intimidating but you can pick it up just give it a go!

Basically he played it then one of the judges was still not decided so the lady wanted one and got the opportunity to try it first but then both judges wanted for the third one to try it as well but then he did try it and gave him the last gold buzzer.

I'm a Spanish speaker. The judges are saying that it looks easy but actually it's not, Edurne (the girl) said the otamatone was cute. Risto (the one with the glasses) said he though he had seen everything. The others were trying to convince him into giving playing the otamatone a try, the crowd started cheering the guy by screaming "Golden Buzzer", after Risto tried playing it and noticed how hard it was to do so, he pressed the golden buzzer.
This just goes to show you that Great Music can be played on any instrument, from a full orchestra, to a harmonica and a tin can, and it will still elevate the soul.

I like how the guy in the shades acted so chill the entire time but ended up being the one pressing the buzzer. Still its pretty impressive to use the otamatone like that, the high notes almost sound exactly like a person.
