- Learn about LoRaWAN and The Things Network (aka.ms/iotshow/thethingsnetwork) from Johan Stokking, co-founder of The Things Network. Did you know a LoRa device can run for a few years on a single AAA battery? This makes LoRaWAN ideal for IoT scenarios. Johan also discusses the Things Network and its community-driven effort to build a global LoRaWAN network now at 8500 gateways. Also, The Things Network now simplifies provisioning of LoRa devices with QR codes. Finally, watch a demo of how to connect the LoRa infrastructure and a LoRa device to Azure in order to detect the freefall of the object.

Cant wait to play with this
is there a demo for something like this? looking for pointers..
Good information. It will be great if some demonstration is shown in which integration of TTN with Azure IOT Central or Azure IOT Hub is shown.
instaBlaster...
Amazing!
Very interesting..
Nice !
Now, knowing that it's possible, next step is jut to make it work ! :)
done?
What is the underwater range in salt water?
we are using Kerlink(outdoor) Gateway, how many devices can we connect to it ?
6000-7000
Thanks
So for mainly industrial and B2B purposes?
Only limited by your imagination.
depends how much time and money you're willing to spend
How big can the network be?
Didn't see any result on the Azure IoT platform when he made the free fall...
It appears one "free fall" event on the interface after a few seconds he drops the module.
How long lora can transmit data by default
Can I make money out of it like Helium?
Microsoft late on the scene again but acting like they invented the tech
