Finally blessed the bmx world with a Dehart bike check! Love the way you went into great detail and pryed for the breakdowns of why he rides what he rides. Super insightful. Thanks for doing this guys! 🤘🏻
Holy shit. I was pretty sure you were around my height between 5'11 and 6'1 just by seeing you next to other riders, and I've been trying to tailor my setup to what I thought yours might be because I was always inspired by your riding, but I would've never guessed you ran such a small frame. I would've guessed 21.25 or 21 at the least lol. You somehow don't make it look like you're cramped on a small bike at 6ft tall like I did when I tried to run a 20.75. Appreciate the feedback man 🙏🏻
These are great, I think because BMX agreed on standards and compatibility a while back you can get a lots of subtle variations in frames and parts to get what you want. definitely not the case in the MTB and road bike world.
Yo man, I run the 48mm version of the stem, and I do have to cut my forks down to slam it, I usually just use a grinding wheel or a big pipe cutter if I have one. Thanks.
How’s it going man, i am exactly 6 feet tall, and my frame is a 20.75, I’ve been running that size for as long as I can remember, except in 2006-2007 I tried out a 20.5 for a bit. Hope that helps, thanks.
That’s awesome man thank you for the support, when I say they are my favorite grip I’ve ever tried, I genuinely mean it, glad to hear they’re working out for you too.
He rode the Cult Hawk cranks for a long time before Primo, they obviously hold up. The Churchill’s are 24mm, bigger than industry standard, that’s why he emphasized their durability. Only a cpl companies make them that beefy, his sponsor Primo being one of them and it’s the only part of theirs outside of his wheels and signature grips so I mean, why wouldn’t he?
Well, what I was trying to point out is that they’re stronger than Cult cranks and thanks, you just confirmed it. Also, most cranks in the industry are 22mm so I don’t know where you’re getting your “industry standard “ facts from But they’re not the standard in the bmx industry.
Nah just playin I ride dehart frame its an older one but I shortened the backend myself with a grinder just took the axle slots in the droputs far forward as I could without hitting the weld
This is the longest I’ve seen chase talk! His set up never changed ! Love it! Sticking to what works! 🔥🔥🔥
Van hosting bike checks is honestly perfect.

How tall is he and what size top tube and crank size?
Hey man thank you, I am exactly 6 feet tall, my frame is a 20.75, and my cranks are 175mm.

Still riding a old Fit Dehart/Eddie Cleveland signature seat!
I still ride a Cult Dehart slim seat they did years ago. CULT PLEASE MAKE HIS OLD SEAT AGAIN. Sick bike. Simple yet effective.👊
If you want a seat that is very similar to his old seat check out the fly Larry Edgar seat 🔥
van homan is the right man for the job!!
Glad you're in to it
Van channeling Joe from sneakershoppin. Really good questions and discussion.

The gap to wall to manual 180 wasn't a bikecheck level line!
Nice bike ❤
Real bmx og, and van also
I really would loved to hear something about his Seat height. Many riders Go higher and higher
Two legends! Yo Chase, what version of your stem do you ride and do you gotta cut down those forks to slam it?
Yo man, I run the 48mm version of the stem, and I do have to cut my forks down to slam it, I usually just use a grinding wheel or a big pipe cutter if I have one. Thanks.
What is Chase’s height? And what size top tube? I’ve been looking at this frame wanting to get it but haven’t pulled the trigger.

Thanks for the reply man. Great to get it straight from the source!
I'd love to see dehart riding trails!!!
Same here!
Sick setup 🔥 Chase you run the 25 or 28 Dak sprocket? Can’t quite tell 🧐 Thanks!
25!
great video, soundtrack name please?
bro what is that park
The man!
Mike Clancy?
55-65 psi = Perfect! 100psi leads to wrist issues, if you go under 35ish you'll get blow outs, smash your Rims & end up on your arse haha.
Street legend
For sure!!!
Most people wouldn’t know you whent down one dirt jump lol 😂
He said, “ Dabble in dirt jumps “.
what size frame?
I think chase has always ran a 21 but he might have went down to 20.75
The frame size is a 20.75, sorry I didn’t specify that in the video.
And the tire size?
The tire size is 2.4 front and back
@@chasedehart chase can you tell me what bars you is it?
Saving for later
im gonan be so honest rn i'm on my 12th pair of dehart grips in a row and there's a reason for it.
There must also be a reason you continue to buy them.
@@ryanevans795 yeah beacuse there comfy n durable
That’s awesome man thank you for the support, when I say they are my favorite grip I’ve ever tried, I genuinely mean it, glad to hear they’re working out for you too.
OG
Fire
The crank size?

OG 2x4
I have those grips and they last.
Come back Stevie Churchill!
New Bike Check just dropped: th-cam.com/video/ySFrSPu7AFU/w-d-xo.html
chains backwards tho
dude how did I not catch this building it up haha, thanks.
@@chasedehart just messin dude that wallride combo was nuts 🔩
Lol chose the cranks cuz they hold up. Cult cranks not holding up to the job? 😂

But they’re not the standard in the bmx industry.
I just got fly doleman 2s in 24mm. 19, 22, and 24 are all standard but most people aren’t going to bend a 19 never mind a 24
Van is god
