Yea JoJo, growing up in PB surfing Crystal Pier everyday I remember when you were a little grom ripping. Stoked to see how far you've come, making a huge name for yourself as a big wave surfer. Keep pushing the limits, your community is proud of you!
Always respected your surfing Brother. Love from West Australia. It's pumping a bit of freak ground swell as per new event and man sometimes the camera cannot do justice of mother nature and source at its most pristine and perfect.each one so different yet perfect in its own right. Sound familiar.??. Just like you folk. ❤️From The wild West❤.
Surfed out there in 91 with only a few guys out Brock Little was one of them. I almost drowned that day! 25-30 ft riding an 8'0 gun. Never went back !😮
Took Joe Roper to Kauai early 80's and got some good surf. Max Medeiros (Pipe Charger) whispered to me- "Joe's crazy brah". I guess the apple didn't fall far from the tree now did it?
Jesus look at all the boats and people now .. i can remember days surfing it with only 4-5 guys max very few even new about the wave in the 80s and had the means to get out there ,, then came the BIG DISCOVERY IN MEXICO article in Surfer mag was the beginning of the end fact is it was first surfed in the 60s .. logistics LOL if there were waves on the mainland for sure had waves at Todo's we go ..

A holy place Todos Santos is
Definitely some beer. But best below 4.7%. 4.0 to 4.6'' is my sweet spot for performance, not being adversely affected, nicely hydrated.

Sounds crazy\gnarly!
Biggest i’ve rode is 12’ in San Diego, but i did get cleaned-up by a monster rogue at Blacks once.
Killer footage of Killers!
I took the boat ride out and road Chickens because Killers was huge. Chickens was 10 foot.
Like Son Like Father. ALL the Roper family members rip at what ever they do!
Yeah Buddy 🤙
