Well when they derail and spill chemicals, many are not fans. Then when the company that own them creates an even bigger problem by exploding the cars just to get their line open in a speedy timeframe at the cost of many lives, animals, air, and water now affected by such crimes.
This would be a great video for your FSC Railroad channel. Regarding Canadian railways operating in the United States, this is a result of NAFTA. Prior to NAFTA, there were strict rules about the railroads operating in the two countries. One way around was having American subsidiaries for the two Canadian railways. Canadian Pacific had SOO Line, while Canadian National had several: Central Vermont, Grand Trunk, Grand Trunk Western, and Duluth, Winnipeg, and Pacific. Once NAFTA happened the subsidiaries were absorbed into the parent companies. Also, regarding CPKC, it was a merger rather than CP buying KCS, hence the new name.
It’s basically a high power truck mounted backpack blower (like you would have at home for leaves) to blow out snow and ice from airports and rail line switches ect When I was just listening before i went back to look I thought you were hauling a snow deaerator for packing snow efficiently into trucks
Great video Steve really enjoy all the different camera angles and your commentary and the music. Nice that you got to deliver the truck on the Railroad property. Thoughts and prayers for that guy's kid. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Steve.
The Hater’s are at it again ! You can never be a favorite without displeasing somebody ! But you definitely have a good percentage of people who enjoy the show !
CP Rail (Canadian Pacific) acquired Soo Line (part of it was the former Milwaukee Road), another company was DME (Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern) and recently merged with KCS. They're the first railroad to travel all three countries: Canada, United States, and now Mexico.
Years ago when I was getting started in trucking my boss would unload onions from a box car on a siding in Hudsonvile using a BN tractor that was reverted to a forklift and would use that by having it to go inside train car while using a flatbed trailer so he didn’t need a dock but parking it in between units he could take crate /box out of boxcar after stacking 20 50 # bags and then hauling them to a local who would then sort them and package for shipment to Grocery Warehouse
Enjoyed watching your travels up and down 61 and Shepherd Road in St Paul. That's my old stomping ground and really miss it. Thanks for taking me along. God Bless and a prayer for that child too. Hope all turned out well for the family.
T Hasl from Norway 🇧🇻 again. Steve! Your best video is Orwell on the road making money. Thank you for your honnest job. Thank you for your TH-cam videos. It make my day.
It is nice to see the old school pulling new school . That low pro cab is also used as a garbage truck . I would call orwell a real cabover . Denis from Santa Rosa Ca
I lived up in Marquette Michigan for a few years and the local railroad, the Lake Superior and Ishpeming is awesome. Watching those trains load iron into ore boats that have been around since WW2 is definitely something special
Man, Conrail is a name I haven’t heard in ages. Grew up right on the western edge of their operating area. Miss seeing those big blue engines. Great video!
pretty sure they use those types of trucks for taking the ice off the tracks, pretty sure there is a large gas fired heater of some sorts and a blower fan
It go’s both ways Steve. Lots of major American companies operating here in canadastain. Our countries work very close together which is good for both our economies
Another awesome video. It was cool seeing Orwell sitting next to the locomotive in the yard. Also would like to say to you and the entire FSC family happy thanksgiving. Stay safe.
The companies are multinational. That said, they have interlined with US rail companies and visa versa since rail began. They hire and operate with exclusively US citizens on US soil. Throwing insults hard in either direction really sucks. I’m a proud (slightly tarnished from Trudeau) Canadian living right on the US border. I absolutely love my American neighbours and will never get on my soap box and try to run my southern neighbours down. Keep them coming, love the content.
I thought I saw you and Orwell on I64 outside of louisville yesterday but not sure. I was so in shock like oh my god theres Orwell it looked like Orwell but I forgot to look for FSC trucking symbol lol 😅😊
CN and CP both have American subsidiaries that allow them to operate in the states, generally via purchasing/merging with American companies. For instance, CN took over old Illinois Central lines and assets a good while back.
I think the red truck has a little bigger deisel motor in it. But they both sounded pretty good. And Steve, dont quit the day job! A man must know his limitation. And your singing is limited. 😂
It's a blower for the rails for leaves or snow. It just blows air! The scoop is faced down to Clear switch points of snow in a yard, or snow from switch frogs. Switch stands or other! As it blows ballast too and it will fly. We have one of those, and a jet engine blower/ The jet blower mounted on a track car has a real jet engine and Jet A Fuel. It blew rocks into the old interlocking tower and broke the window, and the ensuing jet Fuel smoke (like diesel) got to the new hut and set the smoke alarm off. It was like 15F. I cancelled the alarm and vented the new and old building. th-cam.com/video/4ejpPGYhvxY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LjWH4E30v_juXDWh cpkc Holiday train! Jason is great let me know if you see a Mega Log-Hauler!
Good morning Steve I love the freight train there ☀️😎 and where I come from in England? We have the main train 🚂 line that goes to Europe 🌍 see plenty of trains and trucks 🚛 going to Europe on the ferry ⛴️ across the channel
14:57 those wheels on the Challenger look like either HRE or Vossen, I couldn't tell if there was any logo but I know the Vossens have a center cap that matches the rest of the wheel's finish so the logo is harder to spot.
Canadian national railway has been an American company for years now owned by American. That’s how they’re allowed to operate in the states surprised you don’t know this.
If you have a Truck was involved to make it happen- sometimes the logistics involved are too complicated to understand but you wonder why they couldn’t ship that truck on a flat but good you could have done it !
Both CN and CPKC are American companies. As a Canadian I feel the same way you do about foreign companies running infrastructure in our country. But I'd rather an American company than any other nation.
Hey stave how are you doing today on this beautiful day and I like the content in the videos and I like watching your TH-cam videos and they are very educated so any updates on the stepdack and anther truck
Who doesn't love trains especially freight trains
Well when they derail and spill chemicals, many are not fans. Then when the company that own them creates an even bigger problem by exploding the cars just to get their line open in a speedy timeframe at the cost of many lives, animals, air, and water now affected by such crimes.
When they furlough 80% of their agreement roster................
I love Union Pacific freight trains.
Canadian Pacific and Kanas City Southern merged into one company awhile ago😊
It would be so cool to see Orwell parked next to the recently restored Union Pacific 4014 Big Boy locomotive.
This would be a great video for your FSC Railroad channel.

Back when onions was 5 cents a piece now 2 bucks apiece your boss would be happy now if was still dealing onions lmao
Enjoyed watching your travels up and down 61 and Shepherd Road in St Paul. That's my old stomping ground and really miss it. Thanks for taking me along. God Bless and a prayer for that child too. Hope all turned out well for the family.

That got to be a pain in the ass to unhook and to hook back up to unload everytime
CP rail and KCS merged. It's now CPKC
CP owns KCS now
Man, Conrail is a name I haven’t heard in ages. Grew up right on the western edge of their operating area. Miss seeing those big blue engines. Great video!
Hey Steve they’re brining back the Bomb Cyclone this year. They already announced it lol
I saw that this morning!
WERE ALL GONNA DIE!😂
The wrong coast already had one, "a deadly bomb cyclone", but I couldn't find any stories about deaths
@@fsctruckinghappy thanksgiving to you and your family, be safe and best wishes to you

Great video Steve.
Really interesting seeing inside a rail yard like that
Thoughts and prayers for the guys son

pretty sure they use those types of trucks for taking the ice off the tracks, pretty sure there is a large gas fired heater of some sorts and a blower fan

Great thumbnail 👍
@fsctrucking that’s pretty cool being that deep in a yard and seeing Orwell next to a locomotive
Another awesome video. It was cool seeing Orwell sitting next to the locomotive in the yard. Also would like to say to you and the entire FSC family happy thanksgiving. Stay safe.

Steve, I think they use it to blow ice and snow out of the switches and crossings to prevent derailments...
That’s exactly what’s it’s use for. It’s just a giant blower.
I thought I saw you and Orwell on I64 outside of louisville yesterday but not sure. I was so in shock like oh my god theres Orwell it looked like Orwell but I forgot to look for FSC trucking symbol lol 😅😊
Good evening Steve and grate video
Orwell right at home amongst the trains...
Another great video Steve.Always look forward to the next.Take care you and family and Chris.Catch ya on the next
Great video Steve,Orwell in with the big engins.🤩👍👍
Does anybody besides me see the irony of delivering a hi-rail railroad maintenance vehicle to a rail yard ... by truck?
Steve that was way cool. Great video
We want to see Chris paint RGN FSC blue ❤❤❤
That most be cool two go to a train yard
CN and CP both have American subsidiaries that allow them to operate in the states, generally via purchasing/merging with American companies. For instance, CN took over old Illinois Central lines and assets a good while back.
Awesome song Steve!!!!!🎉😊
Love those trains
I think the red truck has a little bigger deisel motor in it. But they both sounded pretty good. And Steve, dont quit the day job! A man must know his limitation. And your singing is limited. 😂
You should buy yourself an old steam locomotive, Steve! ;-)
Orwell and trains. Already great vid.

We have to start calling Steve - Choo Choo Charlie
Hellow Steve an Orwell
Great video as usual Steve
Excellent video, great channel!
9:16 please don't quit your day job. 🙂
They use that machine to blow out switches so they can move from track to track
Bill Gates owns the biggest shares in CN and CP
Wicked cool, stay safe driver
Canadian Pacific bought Kansas City Southern because Kansas City Southern' has tracks that go into Mexico.
Train axels sets are actually called trucks.
Bogeys everywhere else
@@BryanPhillips-tk1km That's the other term I couldn't remember...thanks

I don't know how you have time for trucking, with your globe spanning musical career!
Canadian national railway has been an American company for years now owned by American. That’s how they’re allowed to operate in the states surprised you don’t know this.
CNR has always been a Canadian company. They have purchased US railways which allowed them to enter the US market.
@fsctrucking great singing brother
Love the trains steve
How are you doing Steve
If you have a Truck was involved to make it happen- sometimes the logistics involved are too complicated to understand but you wonder why they couldn’t ship that truck on a flat but good you could have done it !
Trucks are faster. Besides, where would they load it, and unload ?
Merhaba çok güzel bir video olmuş 232132😍❤👍
Nice mate
That truck is a giant leaf blower, except it’s used to blow snow instead of leaves.
Kansas City is my home town
Both CN and CPKC are American companies. As a Canadian I feel the same way you do about foreign companies running infrastructure in our country. But I'd rather an American company than any other nation.
The front screen needs a good cleaning
Approaching a railroad crossing... Now who is going to need train tickets this time? 🤔
That’s for blowing snow out of the turnouts (switches) and melting the ice in them.
Hey stave how are you doing today on this beautiful day and I like the content in the videos and I like watching your TH-cam videos and they are very educated so any updates on the stepdack and anther truck
We have American railroad locomotives that run in Canada not sure what your issue is with canada
Canadian Pacific acquired Kansas City Southern earlier this year, and is officially known as CPKC now!
The 4 cylinder engines in the Equinoxes are crap, and you should avoid them!!! However the V6s are still a good bet
Steve what is the 6 digit number above drivers side headlight for? Orwell looks awe & sounds great, keeping it rolling
It is it's old truck number. The paint faded around the numbers.
Thank you, so he carries a bit of former owners history
I think it should be like the older days Thay stay in there country and we stay in ours.
It is Kansas City Southern
