I like this channel and want it to grow, so here's two criticisms: 1. Please get a pop filter, your plosive sounds are a bit harsh. Getting audio recordings right is important for an audio channel 2. You described that the bass doesn't color the mids, then followed by saying the mids are sometimes too thick and warm. That's contradictory and needs to be edited out or re-recorded
@@miscwork-qb7pd Thank you so much for the criticisms! Yeah I've been thinking of a way to work on the plosives and I'm thinking of getting a pop filter, but I also don't want it to take a massive area in my recording space. Regarding the comment about the bass, this is kinda the part where I probably should have explained a little bit better about the JM-1 mids. The bass does not bleed into the mids to color it, but the lower mids are boosted compared to the rest of the midrange and sounds too thick and warm on some tracks. This is something that a lot of JM-1 based IEMs struggle with minus the Mega 5p (which is on the leaner side of JM-1) but worse on the KE4 because of the absurdly late and meager ear gain. So in short, bass doesn't color the mids but the lower mids is over emphasized. Hope that clarifies things!
I started off with the 7hz Zero 2. I found the bass a bit too much. So, I went with the Dunu Titan S. I liked it, but the soundstage and imaging could be better. So, should I aim for this as an upgrade, or should I go with something else?
The ke4, ea1000 and splendor 2 are at the same price point in my country. Which would you recommend as a fun sounding iem? For reference I find Harman iems to be a bit boring and lacking in midbass
