That’s how I fell into the craftsman system. Originally I was going to only use wired tools because I’m a DIY-er. The tire inflator had 3 ways to power it and I found it on sale for cheap. Then later on a sale for the brushless leaf blower and weed eater combo for $98, which came with batteries and a charger. Then a sale for ~$50 for the impact wrench and next thing you know my garage is full of that system.
@@lVlegabyte Same...I got a lot of V20 Craftsman now because prices were too good....better than Hart and better than Ryobi. The problem with Craftsman now is that their prices skyrocketed because of the pandemic/market situation. The drill/impact combos have basically doubled in price compared to what they were last summer. To make matters worse, they haven't released any new V20 handtools in over two years now. They are due for a refresh on drills/drivers. It's also time for Craftsman to get XR batteries. And the in-store inventory has been very hit or miss at Lowe's. You often have to go online to find what you're looking for in stock. That said, they have some really great tools, like their compound bevel saw or their 7 1/4" saw. The value for money on those is bonkers relative to how well they perform.
@@joelrybacki2603 Get the Ryobi misting fan, they are great, we use them in K9 Search and Rescue training on the dogs in the Summer while they are waiting to do their runs. Home Depot also sells a Ryobi knock off one called Arctic something? uses Ryobi batteries (comes with one) 2/3rds price of Ryobi.
My family did very little camping for several different reasons but we did do a whole lot of Lake Swimming days during summer. Our main stops were Gun Lake and Lake Michigan and it doesn't take long at all to get to the east side of Lake Michigan from Grand Rapids. But my Dad was frequently out of town for work, working for Rapistan now known as Siemens Dematic so my mother was the one that always brought my siblings out to the lakes. We had a big white and Navy Ford Aerostar that would just fit everything you bring on a Lake Swimming days along with 5kids sometimes friends came along. I knew that the Big Pappa Bear was a cool down to earth dude and now I know why hearing about Lake Michigan Camping and sort of Mini minivan adventures. It was fun hearing your memories of growing up here in Central-West Michigan.
That power rinser is going to be huge with the camper van crowd. I have a propane camp shower that I really like. I'll be keeping an eye on this one though.

I'm right with you about the sprayer, that thing is one of those "how did they all miss this SIMPLE tool" designs. I build micro campers and this is about to be a big time bread and butter component.
I love the hart line of tools. . . "Honey, I'll do the grocery shopping this week." But seriously I've been picking up the Hart tools on clearance and I like em. I got a cordless pressure sprayer for the car, a radio (do we need a blue tooth radio using my 20v batteries?), and a couple of those flashlights (because they were cheap). I even picked up a couple of inverters on closeout and I can charge this computer with my batteries. I'm looking forward to getting the shower thing and I can go totally off grid!
I bought their 40v trimmer system with the changeable attachments when I moved into my new house and that thing is a monster. I sold my gas trimmer after the first time I used it. I now have plenty of Hart stuff and love it all. The 20v rotary tool is a great design by the way.
Have been looking at getting some inexpensive brushless tools for minor work, theses all look great! The bear on top of things again. Three year warranty is a plus.
I just bought one of the 4.5ah 40v weed whacker. It's a beast. I live on three acres and have no push mower. I use the weed whacker for everything the riding mower won't get. And, it can do my yard with 50% to spare. Thinking of getting the hedge trimmer and pole saw attachments. When my Dewalt drill takes a crap I may try a 20v Hart drill. The batteries have the same ratings as all the big brands..........what's the difference??
I was just looking at what all they offer on the website. It's crazy. Cordless electric grease gun, heated jacket that uses the 20v batteries, 2 gallon cordless air compressor and even a remote control truck!
Alot af the Hart stuff looks exactly like its lime green cousin. I wish they used the One+ battery platform. I would bet their brushless stuff would hold it's own on a job site, just like it's cousin does
I have the numerous items from the consumer line from Walmart - Hyper Tough 20v tools - have been generally pleased with them for light duty use. I also have the corded 10 gallon Hart vacuum cleaner and it is a beast - maybe the best shop vac I have ever owned. This expanded line of Hart 20v tools intrigues me.
Honestly I'm glad there is a company that would make tools for the average person that wants and needs tools but not a professional set and I love my craftsman 18ga brad nailer being a 20v it's great not dragging a air compressor and hose around
I gotta say I'm a pretty big fan (bear) of Hart. I don't have much by them but I got the 6 gallon stainless steel vacuum for $30, a set of 11 magnetic tipped screwdrivers for $8 and a pair of nice impact gloves for $7. And their tape measures are some of the only ones (for the price) that actually have the fractions listed in between the inches - and they're pretty rugged tapes, too. Really hard to sneeze at them when you find them for the right price 👍

But I was surprised that you mentioned South Haven Michigan 😁 I grew up there right on lake Michigan close to the big red lighthouse 🤔 .. i do travel in a van and i use a pump weed sprayer for quick showers or rinsing off sand or mud .. i Have see Hart products but never really checked them out. So now i will give them a look . ✌😎👍
Honestly for most folks Walmart and hart will meet their needs. Pretty smart on both. I use pro stuff as I'm constantly building remodeling etc. I got two places. Plus I'm the guy everyone calls for help. I honestly find working relaxing I relieve stress extra energy and see results. Plus I love researching and doing things I have not before. I get to buy tools plus keep the knowledge and I know I did it right.

Bear you got it for the power rinser. My fabbed up rinser met its death this winter ... i left it in the truck. This will be its replacement. Whats the release date, in store or online only?
Heat rises. On my corded solder irons the wet sponge stays wet for a long time. I think the stand on the solder iron is so people do not rest the iron on the battery.
That sprayer looks handy, kind of like the Worx "power washer" - it's not a pressure washer, but it is a sprayer that doesn't need a hose back to the tap. The Worx just stuck a hose in a bucket, the built in bucket here seems interesting. I have a very deep yard, and sometimes I don't feel like chaining a bunch of hoses to get all the way to the back to the garden. So it sounds weird, but my Black and Decker 20V trimmer also has that twist shaft to use as edger, and it's actually really handy, even without the wheel. (It does have a little metal thing.) Got it with a similarly light duty blower for like 50 bucks a few years ago at Menards and I'm surprisingly pleased with it. (Hey there we go, now I got a Hart ad on the video too) Brushless light, I feel like I should try to invent a brushed light 😁. Ooh, cordless glue gun.
Gonfonit! Was happy to stay out of the Hart 20V tool line up until the 5 gallon water rinser showed up. Thank goodness it comes with battery and charger.
i been buying up hart tools like mad lol. i like the cheapness of the tools for what i use them for. as a detailer i use my scrubbing attachment for my impact so often that i got extra batteries, amd extra large batteries as well.
its 5 gallons or 50lbs of water you're trying to heat. no possible way. plus compressors need to stay cool and the water is the coolant. If your willing to ignore the possible damage to the compressor, you can possible install a heating coil in the reservoir and just plug into a 120v line. but it's still 5 gallons, it will take a long time

I’ve got a double lot which equals just over a 1/4 acre. But the freebie Worx weed whip (my mom bought it years ago and had no use for it since she has me doing her yard most of the time and a family friend when I can’t do it) does the yard just fine (granted I have weeds and not grass as I live in Phoenix). That being said, I’m sure that weed whip would work for people.
I wasn't interested on Hart lineup until I saw the power rinser. I just ordered one for 129.00. Great for going to the beach and clean off the sand off your boots. Not planned on it. But, I also picked up two 4.0 batteries/60w fast charger combo kit with free tool for 99.00. Must be competing with Ryobi days? The charger is actual fast charger and a cheap Ryobi slow charger.
I saw a flashlight on the clearance rack so I went to look at the batteries and the little one was $54. I dunno, I usually find a deal on a Ryobi tool for $70ish with the extra battery. Except those need hotwiring sometimes to recharge so not perfect either. My monster 80V chainsaw battery was only $100. It's more than I would expect at a Walmart anyway ($35ish is homeowner pricing).

Lol, dude, Ive been saying this for over 2yrs. I thought ryobi wouldve been the one to do it by now. Ive even thought about emailing harbor freight with the idea for bauer, but I dont think anyone would listen to me.
Our house sets on 5 acres so I obviously wouldn't consider using an electric mower for the majority of it. However, if the gas powered push mower that I use around trees and under the fence ever blows up, I'd definitely consider one for that. On the other hand, I'd also consider "re-powering" the gas mower with a Predator engine since they're always on sale. Now, off topic from Hart...I was at my local "farm supply" store today and I saw the Skil Power Core 20v 4 tool combo for $180. It has the 1/2" drill, 1/4" impact, reciprocating saw and flash light, along with 2 batteries and a charger (I think they're 2ah batteries). Is $180 a good price on it?
I have a lot of B & D 20v tools, mainly because you could get them anywhere and they work well for the price. I hope that they last a long time because they're not as readily available as they used to be.
Having a lot of Ryobi One+ tools (I pronounce it Rye-obi, too), I'm not about to buy another cordless line, but I really like that "cordless rinser". That would be really handy for the camping trips I take with my truck. I hope that Ryobi comes with something similar.

Sounds good but I’m all RayObied out on the 18v system. I even have fans and a radio for hurricane season. I did notice that a replacement hammer drill was not as powerful.
So, what's the real competition to Hart in terms of sheer number of compatible tools in 2021? You mention Makita, but that's another class of tools. What about Harbor Freight -- bauer, hercules, etc? Ryobi? Kobalt?
That shower thing looks great, huge bonus points if they can make an upgraded version that heats the water, does not have to be boiling just warm. I have two shepherds, one can find mud in the Sahara the other screams like acid splashed him if the bath water is cold yet he will wade into an icy creek. The idea is awesome just take it one step further. EDIT just bought the shower/sprayer, not cheap $129 but worth it, comes with a charger and 2hr battery which alone is like have that, super long hose and reasonably long cord for cigarette lighter charging. No delivery I have to pick it up and local Walmart only had two left. When I ordered they asked for input, I suggested on version 2.0 a warming feature for the water.

I honestly don't know who Hart is for anymore I don't know anyone that even has their products, tbh. I was at Walmart the other day and was browsing the garden section. I was kind of taken aback at how their cordless lawn tools were TENS of dollars less than say, Milwaukee or Dewalt. I bought a Milwaukee fuel blower during a buy these two 4ah batteries for 199, get a selection of these tools free. How could someone go and buy the hart blower kit for 159 over spending 40 dollars more and getting a much more proven tool platform?
When someone buys a lower level tool for occasional use, and they save 40 dollars over a special Milwaukee deal, it starts to make sense. Both tools will suit their needs for the foreseeable future, but one brand will save them hundreds with just a few tool purchases. Additionally, TTI owns and manufactures both Hart and Milwaukee (and Ryobi). So their capabilities to produce pro level tools and consumer level tools are proven. Nothing to risk, really. Also, the more budget options there are, the better the entry level Milwaukee/DeWalt/Bosch/Makita need to be to justify their price difference... And the higher tier tool is also better to justify its own markup over the lower end DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc. In short, it makes plenty of sense for some guy who owns a house and does some odd repairs here and there to save money on tools that will probably suit his needs forever anyways. And competition is good for consumers.

I am a Milwaukee fan boy through and through but where I live there is no Home Depot I ordered most of my tools off of Amazon but I’m paying the highest price are use most of my tools at home I am really thinking about getting into the Hartline
Awesome video and I'm hyped for these hart tool. I'm a DIY, weekend warrior and currently getting into woodworking. A year ago I thought about tools prices and what line/brand to get into which is always fun kinda like buying a car fun. I wanted something low end(price)just to get me started I can always upgrade later. I saw ryobi and I also saw hart. I did my research and learn that TTI owns both including Milwaukee. I picked hart. Having a store opened 24/7 helped my decision. I bought the brushless combo set. I saw the jigsaw and circ but not being brushless so I didn't get them but now yeah I'm getting them now. But I'm so mad at myself now I just bought the 18 gauge ryobi Brad nailer for 209 a month ago then hart does a nailer...by the way thx for making that live stream video the other day about a few other tubers making some what fake reviews on tools(flex). I know it was hard making it that stream but someone had to do it I'm glad it was the Bear.

You can buy a Stihl MS170 or a Craftsman S160 for about the same price as the 20v 12" chainsaw. That is not what I call a deal for the weekend warrior.
Just checked that power sprayer--you can run it off 12V from your car cigarette lighter port OR the 20V battery. Now THAT is something, awwww hell... I have a 12V car cig lighter port and it comes with the cable so Hart goes for the win.
Plus the string trimmer and bazooka are hybrid power corded or battery!! That where I was sold I consider myself a prob handy Man but ya I got bunch lights 2gal shop vac($20) inverter/charger for ridiculously low prices

It is a great idea to have household and yard tools using the same batteries as cordless power tools. i think you are onto something with that power rinse unit and car camping. I think there will be a copycat from Ryobi and Black and Decker from this. Meantime Walmart will be cashing in and stealing market share. I would like to see a ceramic tile and grout scrubbing unit that could be used both handheld and on a standup handle. Thanks for the good content.
For $144 I’m definitely looking into that Hart sprayer. Im holding off on buying the Milwaukee one because I keep reading reviews about people having them leak. That’s ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE with what I need to spray out of them. Also Milwaukee sprayer is almost twice as expensive for bare tool option.
I know this is all TTI, so either way they get their money. Is Hart Walmart’s competition to Home Depot’s Ryobi? Are they on the same level or is Ryobi the better Hart?
That is exactly what this is. It's also TTI's way of expanding the Ryobi design outside of Home Depot. There are twice as many Walmarts as HD's so it's a big win for TTI.
I've been watching a bunch of the bears tool review and talk videos and I asked about Harbor Freight 12volt line a few weeks back. But now I find out that your A Michigan Man, central to west Michigan to be exact. Same with me here I'm a Grand Rapids boyeee, Alger Heights district to be specific. I grew up here in Grand Rapids moved with my parents in 1998 to a neighborhood just a bit North of downtown Dallas called Carrollton at the age of 14. I spent around 8-9 years and didn't like it 1 bit it took time and effort but I managed to get back home to Grand Rapids Michigan in 2010 I've remained since. Grand Rapids has grown a bunch since my childhood even since 2010 but it is a great Mid sized city with wonderful lakes and hiking trails everywhere you look. But it is really fun and cool with me to find out that the bear knows these lands well. I'm a big TH-cam watcher and the bear is the first channel that I subscribed to that knows my area, I think that is pretty awesome.
We decided a long time ago that we would seek out the proper pronunciation of brands for our own show. Best way to do that is to call their corporate number. The person at the desk is paid to pronounce it right. It’s Ree-oh-bee. ;-)

This is aimed directly at the small home city and suburban customers and is going to sell like crazy. Just look at how many people have been buying homes in the past 18 months. This is a massive money maker.

I could see the power rinser being great for mobile detailing. Fill it with deionized water for a final rinse before drying.

Heat rises. On my corded solder irons the wet sponge stays wet for a long time. I think the stand on the solder iron is so people do not rest the iron on the battery.

I have several Hart tools and I love them heck trying to pull start yard tools.
That sprayer looks handy, kind of like the Worx "power washer" - it's not a pressure washer, but it is a sprayer that doesn't need a hose back to the tap. The Worx just stuck a hose in a bucket, the built in bucket here seems interesting. I have a very deep yard, and sometimes I don't feel like chaining a bunch of hoses to get all the way to the back to the garden.
So it sounds weird, but my Black and Decker 20V trimmer also has that twist shaft to use as edger, and it's actually really handy, even without the wheel. (It does have a little metal thing.) Got it with a similarly light duty blower for like 50 bucks a few years ago at Menards and I'm surprisingly pleased with it.

Gonfonit! Was happy to stay out of the Hart 20V tool line up until the 5 gallon water rinser showed up. Thank goodness it comes with battery and charger.

i like the cheapness of the tools for what i use them for.
as a detailer i use my scrubbing attachment for my impact so often that i got extra batteries, amd extra large batteries as well.
Shame the water sprayer doesn't have a built in heater, though I suppose it would be too much to ask for those little battery packs.
its 5 gallons or 50lbs of water you're trying to heat. no possible way. plus compressors need to stay cool and the water is the coolant. If your willing to ignore the possible damage to the compressor, you can possible install a heating coil in the reservoir and just plug into a 120v line. but it's still 5 gallons, it will take a long time

On the soldering iron, use the biggest battery, if for any reason as a good weight to keep it from being tipped over or knocked over easily.

I’ve got a double lot which equals just over a 1/4 acre. But the freebie Worx weed whip (my mom bought it years ago and had no use for it since she has me doing her yard most of the time and a family friend when I can’t do it) does the yard just fine (granted I have weeds and not grass as I live in Phoenix).
That being said, I’m sure that weed whip would work for people.

The charger is actual fast charger and a cheap Ryobi slow charger.
I saw a flashlight on the clearance rack so I went to look at the batteries and the little one was $54. I dunno, I usually find a deal on a Ryobi tool for $70ish with the extra battery. Except those need hotwiring sometimes to recharge so not perfect either.
My monster 80V chainsaw battery was only $100. It's more than I would expect at a Walmart anyway ($35ish is homeowner pricing).

I think these battery packs are probably not designed for the current needed. Someone could do it though.

Our house sets on 5 acres so I obviously wouldn't consider using an electric mower for the majority of it. However, if the gas powered push mower that I use around trees and under the fence ever blows up, I'd definitely consider one for that. On the other hand, I'd also consider "re-powering" the gas mower with a Predator engine since they're always on sale.
Now, off topic from Hart...I was at my local "farm supply" store today and I saw the Skil Power Core 20v 4 tool combo for $180. It has the 1/2" drill, 1/4" impact, reciprocating saw and flash light, along with 2 batteries and a charger (I think they're 2ah batteries). Is $180 a good price on it?
I have a lot of B & D 20v tools, mainly because you could get them anywhere and they work well for the price. I hope that they last a long time because they're not as readily available as they used to be.
My Walmart's cart jockey uses the hart sprayer to disinfect the carts
All the tools i showed from them about a year ago are still going strong in my shop. The sprayer could make a shower on a camp site.
Having a lot of Ryobi One+ tools (I pronounce it Rye-obi, too), I'm not about to buy another cordless line, but I really like that "cordless rinser". That would be really handy for the camping trips I take with my truck. I hope that Ryobi comes with something similar.
I'd keep watching Ryobi if I were you. I'd be willing to bet it's just around the corner. But SunJoe on Amazon has something that looks twice as powerful as the Hart version.

Sounds good but I’m all RayObied out on the 18v system. I even have fans and a radio for hurricane season. I did notice that a replacement hammer drill was not as powerful.

weight of 5 gallons of water is almost 50 pounds plus the unit. not easy to move around. just simpler to use those water cans.

So, what's the real competition to Hart in terms of sheer number of compatible tools in 2021? You mention Makita, but that's another class of tools. What about Harbor Freight -- bauer, hercules, etc? Ryobi? Kobalt?

That shower thing looks great, huge bonus points if they can make an upgraded version that heats the water, does not have to be boiling just warm. I have two shepherds, one can find mud in the Sahara the other screams like acid splashed him if the bath water is cold yet he will wade into an icy creek. The idea is awesome just take it one step further. EDIT just bought the shower/sprayer, not cheap $129 but worth it, comes with a charger and 2hr battery which alone is like have that, super long hose and reasonably long cord for cigarette lighter charging. No delivery I have to pick it up and local Walmart only had two left. When I ordered they asked for input, I suggested on version 2.0 a warming feature for the water.
Gonna have to put warm water in it.

I honestly don't know who Hart is for anymore I don't know anyone that even has their products, tbh. I was at Walmart the other day and was browsing the garden section. I was kind of taken aback at how their cordless lawn tools were TENS of dollars less than say, Milwaukee or Dewalt. I bought a Milwaukee fuel blower during a buy these two 4ah batteries for 199, get a selection of these tools free. How could someone go and buy the hart blower kit for 159 over spending 40 dollars more and getting a much more proven tool platform?
When someone buys a lower level tool for occasional use, and they save 40 dollars over a special Milwaukee deal, it starts to make sense. Both tools will suit their needs for the foreseeable future, but one brand will save them hundreds with just a few tool purchases.
Additionally, TTI owns and manufactures both Hart and Milwaukee (and Ryobi). So their capabilities to produce pro level tools and consumer level tools are proven. Nothing to risk, really.
Also, the more budget options there are, the better the entry level Milwaukee/DeWalt/Bosch/Makita need to be to justify their price difference... And the higher tier tool is also better to justify its own markup over the lower end DeWalt, Milwaukee, etc.
In short, it makes plenty of sense for some guy who owns a house and does some odd repairs here and there to save money on tools that will probably suit his needs forever anyways. And competition is good for consumers.
@@nachocheez9 I get what you're saying, but let's face it. If you think you need to spend 150 plus dollars for a blower as a casual homeowner (btw NOBODY can convince me that's a "need"), someone should easily have an available budget to spend 40 dollars more.

I am a Milwaukee fan boy through and through but where I live there is no Home Depot I ordered most of my tools off of Amazon but I’m paying the highest price are use most of my tools at home I am really thinking about getting into the Hartline

Awesome video and I'm hyped for these hart tool. I'm a DIY, weekend warrior and currently getting into woodworking. A year ago I thought about tools prices and what line/brand to get into which is always fun kinda like buying a car fun. I wanted something low end(price)just to get me started I can always upgrade later. I saw ryobi and I also saw hart. I did my research and learn that TTI owns both including Milwaukee. I picked hart. Having a store opened 24/7 helped my decision. I bought the brushless combo set. I saw the jigsaw and circ but not being brushless so I didn't get them but now yeah I'm getting them now. But I'm so mad at myself now I just bought the 18 gauge ryobi Brad nailer for 209 a month ago then hart does a nailer...by the way thx for making that live stream video the other day about a few other tubers making some what fake reviews on tools(flex). I know it was hard making it that stream but someone had to do it I'm glad it was the Bear.
That sprayer would be great for garbage cans. No pulling oit the house eapecially in winter to rinse them out.
Maybe that little sprayer can be modified for a solid stream spray...

@@unclefester4626 I’ve been using it as my beater tools for over a year now and they’re holding up. Not well but they still work. I often give them to my son so he can help me and I don’t worry about them getting left out in the rain or destroyed. They’re a decent value
You can buy a Stihl MS170 or a Craftsman S160 for about the same price as the 20v 12" chainsaw. That is not what I call a deal for the weekend warrior.

Just checked that power sprayer--you can run it off 12V from your car cigarette lighter port OR the 20V battery. Now THAT is something, awwww hell... I have a 12V car cig lighter port and it comes with the cable so Hart goes for the win.
Plus the string trimmer and bazooka are hybrid power corded or battery!! That where I was sold I consider myself a prob handy Man but ya I got bunch lights 2gal shop vac($20) inverter/charger for ridiculously low prices

It is a great idea to have household and yard tools using the same batteries as cordless power tools. i think you are onto something with that power rinse unit and car camping. I think there will be a copycat from Ryobi and Black and Decker from this. Meantime Walmart will be cashing in and stealing market share.
I would like to see a ceramic tile and grout scrubbing unit that could be used both handheld and on a standup handle.

For $144 I’m definitely looking into that Hart sprayer. Im holding off on buying the Milwaukee one because I keep reading reviews about people having them leak. That’s ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE with what I need to spray out of them. Also Milwaukee sprayer is almost twice as expensive for bare tool option.
I know this is all TTI, so either way they get their money. Is Hart Walmart’s competition to Home Depot’s Ryobi? Are they on the same level or is Ryobi the better Hart?
That is exactly what this is. It's also TTI's way of expanding the Ryobi design outside of Home Depot. There are twice as many Walmarts as HD's so it's a big win for TTI.

I've been watching a bunch of the bears tool review and talk videos and I asked about Harbor Freight 12volt line a few weeks back. But now I find out that your A Michigan Man, central to west Michigan to be exact. Same with me here I'm a Grand Rapids boyeee, Alger Heights district to be specific. I grew up here in Grand Rapids moved with my parents in 1998 to a neighborhood just a bit North of downtown Dallas called Carrollton at the age of 14. I spent around 8-9 years and didn't like it 1 bit it took time and effort but I managed to get back home to Grand Rapids Michigan in 2010 I've remained since. Grand Rapids has grown a bunch since my childhood even since 2010 but it is a great Mid sized city with wonderful lakes and hiking trails everywhere you look. But it is really fun and cool with me to find out that the bear knows these lands well. I'm a big TH-cam watcher and the bear is the first channel that I subscribed to that knows my area, I think that is pretty awesome.

Great idea for the garden I want to plant that is just out of reach for a 100ft water hose. Much easier to carry the portable than it is to wind up the hose. Of course. $129.00
