I’m a good friend of the inventer/creator of these Q-Tec Quads and trust me this is the best you will ever find/ride ... strangly enough Harley doesn’t appreciate this as they really should it’s way better then any other creations in the world ... ! Even the triglides they produce ain’t half as good as these Q-Tec conversion !
I'm only 32 BUT I'll take two please. Never thought a quad-bike would be street legal. I'd ride one everywhere here in Australia, it'd be safer on loose surfaces I think. Gravel rash hurts. Turn to fast the things will sling-shot you off like any quad, Glad the makers are taking steps to prevent that happening. Absolutely. Appreciate the comment. These things are sick. You would have to go pretty fast to get thrown, faster than I certainly would ever run. I always ride with a helmet, I am hard headed but I don’t think I stand a chance against concrete so I try to increase my odds.
Interesting concept. I personally don't care what others think. After riding 2 wheeler's many years & 30yrs of running big trucks I bought a triglide. Upgraded to water cooled heads m8. I luv it & earned respect to the local riders over the yrs. To those who say never... I rode & partied with the best never thinking I'd see 64. Having a blast & still in the wind Those quads would be a blast to ride. Load them down with camping gear & head out to rally... Would have to figure a mod. for front brakes.
I defiantly do not hate on Trikes as much as the "normal guy" does, whatever that means. But I do prefer the quad look over the Trike and I think just because it is different.

It used to be a 3 wheeler, but now it has 4 wheels. Could I still ride it on the highway/street or is it kinda yes, kinda no? I'd be happy if you responded. I live in Ohio.
That is a complicated question that I don’t know the answer to. I am not familiar with Ohio laws and I wouldn’t want to steer you wrong. You should contact your local DMV to ask.
It varies widely based on the bike you want to convert and the kit you want to convert to. It is a specialized customization that would require you to call and talk to them. A lot of it just depends on what you want, prices can be similar to a HD Tri-Glide.
HD should make them for $150,000 & offer Screamin' Eagle billet colostomy bag & oxygen cylinder holders on the options list. They really do scream "last ride of the American Boomer"
The trikes and reverse trikes are about the same as the Harley Tri-Glide if you compared the cost of buying the bike and doing conversion. The quads are a little more. You can check out their website for prices

Ahhh I LOVE this kind of technical Teddy comment. Any “rider” who speaks as if they live life via textbook vs open minded real life experiences is ALWAYS a head scratcher. Personally, I stand by my open mindedness to see a Harley converted into a quad, riding it, and calling it as I see it. I mean, I guess I could have just read a dictionary instead of experiencing something, that would have been way cooler of an experience for sure.
@@GearsGadgets Sorry if it hurt your feelings but according to the DMV: A vehicle must have three or fewer wheels in order to qualify as a motorcycle. In some states, the number of wheels on your ride can help dictate the type of operator's license you need to obtain. So, consult with your state motor vehicle office to get the wheel scoop in your area.

The fact is that it is a custom modified motorcycle and being that it is built off the Softail frame it still falls under DMV registration as a motorcycle. I appreciate your ability to read a dictionary but your wrong. Same deal as a trike being classified as a motorcycle my friend.

Its an aftermarket conversion on the OEM frame, 100% legal.
These could also be used in dirt or mud with some more aggressive tread on the tires.
Those quad motorcycles are great. Perhaps they should do quad superbikes.
