I can never forget the ball shaheen bowled to KL. It literally shook me. KL was in a sublime form before but that ball was always getting the wicket on any batsman in the world

Still Mohammad Asif was the best I have seen any bowler. He was a spinner at 130 kph. He bowled out batsman like they were little kids.
Asif was a genius. he could tell where the ball would move after hitting the seam before he even bowled it such was his command.

Yarrr thank you for saying this. Unfortunately not many people will say or even know this but M. Aasif had the best line n length among all Pakistani bowlers. He lacks temperament. I wish he had a good mentor, losing him was not just his own or Pakistan lost but it was a lost for cricket too.
Somewhere I came across this documentary, searched for it today and finally completed it. Even if I say that Shaheen is THE best bowler today in world cricket, that would not be an understatement. Yes, as every Indian, I was shattered when he blazed through Indian innings last year, but deep down in my heart a fan was born. Today, watching his humble beginnings and his sheer talent, I could only remain in the awe of this magnificent player. Lets hope he excels further, & doesn't get affected of the syndrome of "too much, too early"!

What surprised every Indian including me in the 2021 WC match was that we had seen Shaheen before in 2018 Asia cup and 2019 WC he was a good bowler but never looked lethal like a bowler who could dismantle the side, and that’s exactly what he did, he dismantled the batting lineup the delivery to Rahul was a ripper! Insane spell 👌🇮🇳
he learned alot in those 3 years. He was new to international cricket in 2018. And better in 2021 but you havent seen his best yeat, not even close. He will reach to the heights nobody touched before iA
He got two wickets in two consecutive overs. Didn’t dismantle anything. It is actually the Indian team and Indian Fan’s mentality in recent years that if you get Top 3 batters out, then all is over. Where as, when you look at Aus and Eng, even if top 3 get out, the next 4-5 batters will go on to carry the team and post a good score. There are not just 3 batters in the team my fellow Indian cric supporters!
@@bhav7179 Its just three wickets and that match for Indian fans, not for us Pakistanis. We see him dismantling batting lineups day in day out. He may not get a wicket on a bad day if it ever comes but he will trouble the batsmen even then.

Complete fast bowler, swing, angle across, seaming away, reverse from around the wicket, cutters. Banters aside Indians know how good he is and respect his talent.

There are two people who gave this gem to the world: Riaz Afridi and Aqib Javed. Aqib may not be as effective and lethal as Waqar and Waseem, but his awareness of the game is far better and deep. He is the one who can see beneath the surface of things. Such an intelligent guy who is responsible for discovering not only Shaheen but also Haris Rauf. 👍
