    Yes! Roxy!
I would’ve chosen one, or all of the tracks below:
    “Pjamamarama”
    “Out of the Blue”
“In Every Dream Home A Heartache”
    “Virginia Plain”
    “Mother of Pearl”
    “Ladytron”
    “Editions of You”
    “Same Old Scene”
Hoping to see you check out more Roxy.

Roxy Music always had ballads, but they went headlong into being a ballad band with the Avalon album. I like Avalon, but frankly I prefer earlier stuff. "The Thrill of It All," "Re-make/Re-model," "Virginia Plain," "Love Is the Drug," "Editions of You," and "All I Want Is You" are all great!

"Take a Chance with Me" was the third single from their final album, Avalon, released in 1982. I saw them on that tour. After that Bryan Ferry went solo and released a top selling album in 1985. Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour backed him up during his Live Aid performance that year. Genre-wise, the song is New Wave, but more pop-soul, with elements of what some call "New Romantic". Roxy Music influenced many eighties bands. When you're ready for more from that era of Roxy Music, check out "More Than This" and "The Main Thing". And for a few super tasty tunes from them from the seventies, check out "The Thrill of It All", "Both Ends Burning", and "Love Is The Drug" when you can.

Phil had a whole career playing with David Gimore. Also check out the 801 Live album with Eno, Simon Phillips, and Phil Manzanera.

Oh yeah another 80s deep cut. Brad I think you got the essence of the song and put it in a way that summarizes it well.
This one is good, but sounds kind of dated hearing it now.
A classic Roxy Music album with all great songs is "Avalon".

BTW, It's "Art Rock". Studio version has better production value.

Brad...are you going to react to The Beatles new song and video?
    It's pretty amazing. ❤

Error: you should have used the album-track audio - because it has the entire slow-paced intro section.
Obvious suggestion - have you reviewed In Every Dream Home A Heartache yet?

Genre "adult contemporary" pop, or "lounge" pop ❤
