- Alright guys, so this is the vocal range video for the debut full-length studio album "No Good" by the astonishing singer, Ivy Levan. To me, this is one of the best album I've heard in 2015, not to mention it was even her FIRST album!?
I adore her sassy, in-your-face style. It's something rare to see nowadays because music recently has been "over-saturated". So this one is a stood-out for me.
About her vocal, she really explored her range here, from a low D3 to A5 in mixed voice, and climbed up to G♯6 in falsetto!
Lower Register: D3, E♭3, F3, F♯3, G3, G♯3, A3;
Mixed Register: G♯4, A4, B♭4, B4, C5, C♯5, D5, E♭5, E5, F5, F♯5, G5, A5;
Head Voice/Falsetto: C5, C♯5, D5, E5, F5, F♯5, G♯5, A5, B♭5, B5, C6, C♯6, E♭6, F6, G♯6.
Of course I'm well aware that she lowered her larynx here, but it gave characteristic to her voice so it's fine with me. And she sounded a bit identical to Christina Aguilera and Lady Gaga too (especially in Johnny Boy).
Favorite songs: Biscuit, Champagne Taste, Like A Glove, Misery, No Good, The Dame Says.

Her head voice is absolutely above average. I LIVEEEEEE 😭 She’s seems so free in that register.
Shes amazing, shes like Gaga + Christina with a decent technique, she has a great voice with lows, upper belting and head voice with a great tone plus beauty and style, im waiting for the day she will explode, this LP already is amazing and she deserved way more success.

Falcon Soprano? She's got a dark low register that sounds like its projected from a mezzo, but her belts are that of a soprano, some having that "stringy" quality of Falcon sopranos.
Falcon sopranos are quite rare... maybe she's a full lyric soprano. Just her low register seems like that of a mezzo

To me (a totally notso stranger with music terminology but sort of yes) she's a mezzo with a great low and upper range.
