I got back into this game with the stay at home thing and really appreciate all you have done and continue to do for the community. Precise and very easy to learn . Thank you. Stay safe all.
You are the boss of Stormworks on youtube, my friend. I would have thrown the game in the trash out of pure frustration by now, if it wasn't for you! Thanks for all you video's!
Nice video! Almost like my distant lectures from school :P - The controller you use for sliding doors that are flush with wall is using something like sequencer with two numeric outputs You can use it for landing gear too (I have two outputs, A and B, A switching first, so A gear doors, then B actual gear), so you could call it something like "2-step sequence" and show how you can use it in other builds Also I'm suprised how many people fail at this basic logic, literally my first controller for Endo was this: two capacitors and two numerical switchboxes - 24:50 I think Capacitor is better, because delay would cause delayed behaviour (shocking right?) if you just tap the push button, not a huge deal, but I like to make my logic Endo-pr....I mean dumb-proof :D - Little more about delays and capacitors, delay will delay ON and OFF state, but length of holding the button won't change, while capacitor can charge instantly and turn off after few second, if starting input is pulse, you can control the length of out-coming pulse (I found that controlling things with 1 tick pulses works best in SW) - Are you planning more? Please do more! I'm bored as you can see by length of my comment :D
I mean, if you got a big ship, you could connect emergency doors to medium batteries and those batteries to solar panels (make it kind of an independent system) maybe that would work? Idk I love eletric doors. That sliding door at the end is really smart
Thank you so much for your efforts with these videos. I don't know if you've ever played Kerbal Space Program or know about Scott Manley but, to me, you are the Scott Manley of Stormworks
I am sure that sliding mechanisms can be used with sealed doors. It is also possible to use robotic pivots as hinges with sealed doors but you have to place them behind the door frame.
Would love to see timestamps so that I can just skip to the door i want to understand. Loving the videos they have been extremely helpful as im just a beginner
9:15. I tried doing what you did with the light indicating a sealed door, and I copied everything you did, but the light isn't on when the door is sealed and it never turns on at all. And yes, I hooked them up to electricity.
How the hell do you connect the second Linear Track Base in that orientation @ 13:31? I can only get it to attach to the first base in the opposite direction.
Funny how the quarantine makes us happy watching half an hour of doors.
Wow it didn't feel as a half hour at all
No because it was 27:21
Yes, it didnt feel like half an hour
He meant a half of an hour so like 30 min
18:18 ah yes the "capcitator"
24:42 - were going to use a capacitater,
capacitater?
a potato that can hold a charge ^^

They should add a new door block that would seal if it is flush with another block for even more custom doors.
I like how you say capacitor in like 3 different ways in the same video :D
ive been making sliding doors for a while now but didnt think about that gripper and relay to prevent constant power drain. really nice

I can finally keep myself safe from Covid-19 by using these doors!
Just dont go in a multiplayer server...
Ahhhh, I just designed my own compact door which took me forever and just as I finish this gets released 😂😂😂
I mean, if you got a big ship, you could connect emergency doors to medium batteries and those batteries to solar panels (make it kind of an independent system) maybe that would work?
Idk I love eletric doors.
That sliding door at the end is really smart
Finally, A tour Guide
The flush sliding doors can be made with custom door frames and sealed. :)
The relay portion would be so good for even more than just doors. Really anything push / toggle button related.
Thank you so much for your efforts with these videos. I don't know if you've ever played Kerbal Space Program or know about Scott Manley but, to me, you are the Scott Manley of Stormworks
Just made a Boxcar door thanks to you. Making me slightly smarter with Logic

You can make elevating platform that can be sealed!
That lock is cool!
Thank you, this is very very helpful ❤👌😋
Wow, finally the tutorial I needed really much!
THX :D
Been waiting for this🙌

Amazing thank you very much, Could you do a video about logic gates?
T h a n k s
I spent too much time making my stupid door i needed this
Awesome video
*wait you can press control to eyedrop a component?* do you have any idea how long I was thinking it wasn't a thing
No matter how good the tutorial is I will never be able to make a freaking door
You are not alone
Can you please take a short look at different rudders?
I have come to a point where this is very entertaining to me

Can you please do a tutorial on wheel slip management?
Love this one
Not only are you his biggest fan, but you also loved the video!
You should do another ship building series
I’m your biggest fan
Garage Doors like those on frigates and destroyers
Are the sliding ones water tight?
please make a build totorial
how to do two axis doors
when i make a custom door only the hinge moves any idea please ???
Pretty sure the Dock Door has a Composite In and Out too.
Man, I wish we have an unpowered door with a wheel for a lock.
You can make a custom door with a power of 1% and then you can push it open by walking into it
@@swq1217 I know. But I am talking about ship doors in real life.
@@Justin-rn9tf ah, ok
13:09 how you made that? I am trying but i cant place the compact linear track on the same way you did
what do you mean ?
are they the same body ?
@@thechlebek901 i cant understand how the door open, i know how to make it go out, but not how it runs to open, i tried to do it but i can't

mrnjersey can you make a trailer how to get a button that teleport you in stormworks?
Cant you make a sliding door that can seal
You can if you use the door blocks instead
Are you going to finish the Damen Patrol boat?
I'm going to test if i can build a custom door in a custom door in a custom door :P
u taught me the electrisity
How do i BUILD the sliding door?
The dial was using the electricity for the door btw
Do you actually have an online server that someone could join?
18:26 im sorry "compata" ?
Nice
I don't understand the two axis door
No offense, but u missed the Sliding Sealed Door! ^^"
It’s the same process
You missed sealed sliding doors.
When you buy those cheap Chinese parts on amazon, "Capacitators" Instead of the American made "Capacitors"
Id like you to find me a non Chinese made capacitor
can someone makes timestamps
