Today we are featuring a special edition of the Ferrari California, the California ’30’. The California 30 is a car of Firsts for Ferrari. Which California would you choose?…The original, the 30 or the California T (turbo)?
Proud Cali 30 owner also with HS package on mine. It’s the best car I’ve owned… does it all… the N/A gems are not to be missed, I’ll be keeping mine for many years to come. Great vid as always Rich
Hello from Carmel California. Great video. I attend the launch for the California 30 and drove it all day here. I loved it and the exhaust sound is awesome 👏🏼
Have to agree - it’s the plate of a complete prat. That said, if you bought this car, you could likely recoup a good sum by selling it to another complete prat, while simultaneously making the car look far better. However, the plate, coupled with the low mileage also tells me that the previous owner used to rag it to bits while driving at 25mph on Kings Road in Chelsea, so set aside that money for repair work 👀
@@RichReviews_ I wouldn’t say it’s an extreme opinion. I don’t have an issue with personalised plates, but giving one’s self a self-aggrandising title like ‘boss’ is crass and abrasive. Plus, there’s a practical element to it. If I’m buying a car, I’m looking for indicators that it’s had a hard life. ‘BOSS’ tells me it was redlined while waiting at the lights on a regular basis.
Its a funny world, the ferrari owners world. The califonia in any guise is the perfect " does everything" ferrari (looks great in lots of colours, has a v8 is a hard top convertible, has space behind the seats, has a timeless cabin in quality leathers, carries the wing badges well) but gets a proper kick in the teeth by most ferrari owners and " ferrari keyboard experts"
I'd need to have access to one to compare and contrast...The California 30 is an exceptional tourer and substantially improved over its predecessor the original California.
But it is not a Ferrari, if you park your car the vallet will put it at the back and the ferraris in front and you will regret you chose the maserati instead, if not already @andybroer651
I think you should create a new channel at this point. I think you're shadow banned or something. Beacuse your videos are too good to be getting this low of an engagement and views.
@@RichReviews_ Exactly, I watch a lot of your videos, and I know these should be getting at least 100K views per video. Maybe start a new channel and just keep re-uploading the same videos. But anyways, Wish you all the best. Greetings from Croatia 👋
@@RichReviews_ I honestly don’t know. It’s just a thought as I’ve been watching your videos for over a year now, and your growth doesn’t make sense to me. So that’s why I’m saying it might be shadow banned, but that also doesn’t make sense, as your channel is completely within all the guidelines.
@@RichReviews_ No I'd rather the GTC4 lusso V12. Slightly higher weight and worse weight distribution is a small price I'm willing to pay for all-weather capability and traction. These days a lot of luxury GT are available with awd, from Continental GT to Maserati Granturismo and Mercedes SL. Honestly I'm surprised Aston Martin didn't make the switch yet.
V12 implements a front PTU as part of the AWD system which is prone to failure unless upgraded...V8 does not suffer with this due to being rear wheel drive and therefore no front PTU.

The Ferrari California is a fantastic car which is totally underrated.
Agree, great car to take across Europe touring will little loss in value due to them already having hit bottom.

Thank you...The real kicker is someone is going to get a great deal with this car being presented at auction tomorrow with No Reserve!
@@RichReviews_ Did you see what it went for?
@furiousgta it’s on their website…I think circa 64k before charges
Hello from Carmel California. Great video. I attend the launch for the California 30 and drove it all day here. I loved it and the exhaust sound is awesome 👏🏼
It really impressed me. Did you buy one?
Great classic styling one of the last pininfarina ferraris 🎉
BO55 plate .... oh dear
Great plate bro, ignore the haters
@anilpatel5877 thank you

@bibblebob Some like cherished plates, others not but quite bizarre you hold such an extreme opinion either way. Why is that?

Nice video, great noise for a GT.
Thank you, much appreciated.
Very underrated car just like the Portofino. Great car.
It won me over Kevin.

This is very true yet the car is very undervalued and is a great GT tourer.
Actual ferrari owners rarely pan it from experience, but most people who have never owned ferraris do crap on them for whatever reason.
It’s a beautiful car - and offered at No Reserve in tomorrow’s sale (22nd September).
Stunning example, super low mileage presented 'As New' and crazily has No Reserve.
That will do me nicely. Hang on, I haven’t got two pennies to rub together. It will have to wait. 😂
😂
Maserati GranCabrio S is better, has more rear leg room and less expensive to buy and own. Plus, it looks better and sounds great!
I'd need to have access to one to compare and contrast...The California 30 is an exceptional tourer and substantially improved over its predecessor the original California.
@@RichReviews_ The California's rear seats are not very usable. That was one of the reasons I bought a GranCabrio S
@andybroer651 that area is best implemented with the rear seats delete option as provides a much more useable space.
@@RichReviews_ but no use for me with grown kids

Hopefully such a thing doesn’t exist but we are as bemused as you as to why such poor engagement when we put our heart and soul into our content.

I think it just is what it is, we have to keep pushing hard and eventually we will ‘hit’.
Have you driven Maserati Granturismo? To me it's the perfect GT car with NA V8 built by Ferrari... F136 same engine as the 458.
We have been trying to get access to a car but so far missed out.
@@RichReviews_ I have a 2011 you are welcome to drive if you'd like.
Thank you yes please.

@jay5566f4 but it is not a Ferrari
@@adjansi who cares. Maserati has a rich history and heritage. Granturismo is fully built by Ferrari though.
A GT with no awd? No thanks
So no 599/F12 either for you then? Why do you need 4wd on a touring luxury GT?
@@RichReviews_ No I'd rather the GTC4 lusso V12.

@@RichReviews_ I heard about those problems on older FF and GTC 4 lusso. Too bad because otherwise is such a complete car
