I call this the "Runnin' Season". In the morning I'm runnin' them out to the poly tunnel, in the evening, I'm runnin' them back into the house. I'm in Northern Ontario and It's amazing to me how similar sometimes our growing season are. Even if I don't get planting out as early as you, I will bet a glass of wine that I'll be harvesting at exactly the same time. 😄💗 Much love from on top of Lake Superior!
Runnin’ Season 😁I like that. I’ve stopped runnin’ today and the last six have gone in. Even chancing the peppers😬kitchen feels bare😂weird spring here. Still 9-10° overnight, not great, but the greenhouse hit 46.4°c this afternoon and that was with both doors open, crazy extremes for them, but heyho.😅
Hi Tony, my tomato seedlings are doing well in the polytunnel Ive even found volunteer tomato plants already growing in my polytunnel beds. Go for it ztony they will be fine x.
Took the jump today, tomatoes, AND cucumbers planted out ( I am in the south), polytunnel next. Going for it now, my forecast is very good for the next 2 weeks.😊
My tomatoes have been in the greenhouse for just over 3 weeks, but I do have fleece on standby in case temps of less than 4 degrees are forecast and if a hard frost is forecast a paraffin heater also on standby…
I’m itching to take my tomatoes 🍅 up the allotment for the greenhouse. They all need potting on into their bigger pots. I did a stock check today 24 tomato plants for an 8x6 greenhouse and two chilli plants help 😂 Yours are looking great Tony. 👍🏻
I’m always careful about planting out tons and especially peppers. English weather is fickle. So I plant out end May or early June here in Northumberland. I plant in greenhouse & in a mesh tunnel. One needs to be careful cos the one thing I cannot control is the weather 🫣🤣
Omg toms are huge. I need much smaller plants in early May cos of space constraints. I always get plenty fruits tbh but for me it’s all about what space ya have at early growth stage
Sod it away to plant my tomatoes in the polytunnel. Last frost date in Aberdeen is the 10th of may. It hasn't rained for two days so it must be summer.
Fortunate favours the brave !!! If I were growing Tom's this year I would be putting em in now . Good luck and keep up the good work . I'm sure Steve will watch over em
Hello Tony tomatoes are looking good , i have ordered some of the Toddler F1's that you have , they sound amazing . One thing i am trying is to dry a small amount of the compost i have to see if i can work out what is in it ? I am then going to wet it see how long it takes to suck up the water . Might answer some question's about Sylvagrow ?
I have tigerellas this year, yours are huge! I really hope I get lots of tomatoes this year. Good luck with it all. I may be wrong, but didn’t you add too much water? I thought they don’t like over watered soil/compost!? At least they’re in a greenhouse. So far, I’ve been growing mine in the shed. I hope the weather gets warmer for them…cause this gloominess is ridiculous.
Did the same today 6 gone in They've been in pots in the tunnel for the last 6 weeks no heating so might as well be in the ground as in a pot 🤔 was my thinking
I came here to warn😅...I know my autopots needed watered in manually for about a week, if the tap is turned on the plants just sit in the top couple inches

No tender plants out until the end of May.
My father used to say "Never cast a doubt until May is out".
My tomatoes been out for two weeks, no issues in green house. In west Scotland. “Get’em’IN”

Mine went out today, out in the open😅 Had no choice as I started way too early and they're over 3ft tall
Spell check got me again!!!! Fortune!!! B####y technology 😂😂😂
I move my peppers a week or two after the Tom’s.
Trying quad grow for the first time. Too early for us in South Yorkshire...another week or two..
Got mine out a week and a half ago...then pigeons ate a couple of them 😢
Had to net them up now
What the heck are you feeding the pepper & tomatoes on Tony steriods 😂 massive plants God bless mate.

Hi there I'm new to the channel can I ask were you got your polytunnel from
That could do with a hose lock connection on them for filling
Mine have been out for 2 weeks ago.
Cover them with fleece just to be sure
