@@aliceneba thank you so so much for your reply, please are there specific websites to make these research on because I’ve been trying on google but have not been able to get a definite answer please 🙏
hi. i am from Malawi, and we speak English over here. but we still are not among the 7 approved English speaking country that can teach English anywhere. is it possible to get a job in Taiwan as a Malawian?
@@aliceneba thanks for the reply, i just subscribed. did you have any prior teaching experience in malawi? and is there a probability of getting a permanent teaching job in taiwan after graduation
@@kpop.planet thank you . I didn’t have prior teaching experience in Malawi. I got the permanent teaching job here after I graduated with my masters. When I was a student, I used to work in schools part time though.
@@aliceneba lastly, i am planning on coming to taiwan to study, i am self sponsoring myself and i am hoping to get a parttime english teaching job in taiwan while studying. do you think the money earned while teaching part time will be enough for me to pay tuition fee and living expenses?.
Sister, first of all thankyou for your guidance. ❤❤❤ I don't have a teaching license to apply as full time English teacher at public schools. But I need a permanent job there. 1. What should I do, should i start with a cram school or I should apply as an assistant language teacher at TFETP (suggest me a way where I can remain for longer years and later should be promoted to a regular teacher) 2. Also tell me, can I make enough money to survive with my spouse? maybe I can teach guitar in my spare time. 3. And most importantly please clarify which one is easier to get selected into, TFETP(for assistant language teacher) or HESS(cram schools), I am from India. 4. Also at last, is teaching experience at the cram school helps get into public schools?
@@aliceneba Thanks for your quick reply ❤ you are really kind. Sorry to bother you once again... Soon I will have my PCC, I shall be applying for both at TFETP (for ALT) and for cram school. What if I am selected at both, what would you suggest I choose at the end? As assistant language teacher at a public school or a cram school teacher. Which one is more feasible considering work-life balance & decent money.? As I am planning to settle there for 4-5 years.
I raised a start🥰🥰.This is so helpful to anyone needing help
Thanks mom

I am a Malawian with a teaching job in Taiwan. You can teach in Taiwan as long as you come from a country with English as the official language.
