      IELTS is not required unless your medium of education is some other language apart from English. If that is the case, you need to write IELTS. But if your graduation medium
      is English, you just need a certificate from the University that whole course was taught in English. IELTS is just to check whether you are able to write, read, speak, and listen to English up to the required level, so it is not used as a selection criteria. Hope this answers your question

      Idea time depends on how soon your University can provide you the Btech degree certificate. Even if you apply in your last semester, if you can't show the original certificate at the time of joining, then your admission might be cancelled or you need to differ your semester to the next semester. I finished my Btech in May and I got my certificate in December, so my ideal time would be to apply for the spring semester (Application time: September to October, Admission result: December, Joining time: Feb to March). I can suggest better if you know when you would finish your exams, and in which month you wil graduate or have your original certificate with you! Hope I answered your question.

      You mean IMBA, right? If you just want to attain knowledge, studying in Taiwan is a great option, with a low-cost fee structure. They also provide a complete scholarship for the first year, and the second year scholarship depends on merit. But you must keep in mind that the universities do not help with any job opportunities. There would be no placement drives whatsoever. You have to consider if it is worthy enough to risk your high paying job to do your masters here. Because finding a job is really hard if you don't speak chinese. But if you learn Chinese along with doing masters then that should help you a lot.

    • @OverTheSeas
      @OverTheSeas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, whatever you heard about the earthquakes is true. But what the world gets to know is only half information. There are earthquakes frequently, but the magnitude is below 6 most of the time. The buildings are very strong here as they comprise of strong metal and constructed in such a way that they withstand earthquake tremors. We have been staying here for 4 year and we have encountered atleast 5 or 6 times, we can feel the tremor. The building swings a bit when the magnitude is high, but nothing really happens.
      The earthquakes usually are bad in the forests and mountains, where there may be landslides because of tremors, but there is no danger in the residential area.
      We were worried too, when we shifted here initially, but there are foreigners living in Taiwan for more than 20 years and they told us the same about earthquakes. 😁

      Yahan...jo bhi international students hai unkeliye masters ka first year free hai ...bas ek 30,000 admission ke liye Dena hoga...first year(1st and 2nd semester) ka fees nahi lagega, uske baad jab apka 3rd semester start hoga tab apko 70,000 rupees pay karna hoga ...par agar aap 2nd semester mein bahut achcha score karte ho toh apko ye paise almost vapis mil jayenge...similarly 4th semester mein bhi aap ek 70k pay karoge ...agar aap top karte ho international students ke batch mein toh aapko 4th semester ke bhi paise vapis mil jayenge...aise yatoh aap 30k mein pura masters padh sakte ho ya fir ek 2lakh mein pura masters complete Kar sakte incase apko 3rd aur 4th semester mein Utne achche marks nahi ate toh. Ye bas fees ka bataya hai meine baki rehne ka cost vo sab alag hoga. Jaise 6 months ke liye hostel mein rehna hai toh 25,000 pay karna hoga...toh 4 semesters ko milakar 1lakh rehne ka ...par aap hostel mein rehte ho ya part time karke apna accommodation Bahar lete ho ye aap par hai.
      Note: Ye sab jo bhi details bataya hai meine ye National yani government universities ke bareme bataya hai. Yahan national universities mein facilities aur degree ka value government vaale universities ka hi jyada rehta hai. Apply karte vaqt zarur se 'Nationa' naam mein ho aise check karke apply karna.

    Well it is good video describing about the opportunity and landing in Taiwan. But Masters is really for 4 yrs! I don’t think so it is that long . It should be around 4 sem to 5 sem!

    • @OverTheSeas
      @OverTheSeas  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has 4 sems, but if you need more time for completing your thesis, then you can extend for two more years (can be extended twice - 1 year each time) according to Visa regulations. So, total is 4 years.

    • @cooldr4u
      @cooldr4u 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OverTheSeas come on! No one want to have it for 4 yrs. Yes we had few cases but now it is not really. Why I saying is that , just coz of staying no one want to study, rather want to complete and get working visa! I might fear that it may be negative aspects for the aspirants to deter their wish to come here. Anyway it’s good information. Keep up the work 👍🏻

    • @OverTheSeas
      @OverTheSeas  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@cooldr4u Thank you. I request to please watch the video again. People who want to complete Masters sooner can complete it in 1.5 years too. If they want to complete it on time, then it is 2 years. We mentioned that 4 years is maximum time in which you need to complete the masters. If we were not able to write the thesis within 2 years (4 sems ), we can extend for another year (3 years). Even if 3 years was not enough time for someone to complete the thesis because they need more time to research or they weren't able to complete because of any other reasons, then they can extend it again for one year (so, total 4 years). 😅
      People who finish the Masters in 1.5 years or 2 years can find a job and shift to working Visa as soon as they can. There is no compulsion that you need to be on student visa for 4 years, that is only for people who need more time to complete their thesis. ✌
      Hope we have clarified your doubt.🤞

    I am from Bangladesh. My birth date is 02/02/2005. I have completed 10 years of education from a well known school in Bangladesh. To be more exact, I have finished my secondary grade this year (In Bangladesh it is known as Secondary School Certificate exam and my exam batch is SSC 2022). Furthermore, My Department was science. My educational background is too good. I have good communication skills in English and I am getting prepared for sit the IELTS exam and beat a good band score. I want to continue my further study in Taiwan in Information and Communication Technologies. I don't know Chinese language at all, however I am thinking to go to Taiwan and start learning Chinese and I hope I learn it soon.
    Does Taiwan allow overseas students from Bangladeshi background to study for a bachelor's degree in Computer Science after 10 years of study/with secondary level certificate? If not, what can I study there?
    If I am not eligible for bachelor degree, will I be accepted for polytechnic or diploma degree?
    Please someone help me by answering my questions 🥺🙏

    • @OverTheSeas
      @OverTheSeas  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It seems like you completed your 10th Grade. Or did you complete your +2? If you have completed your +2, you would be eligible to apply for an Undergraduate program of 4 years if the course you select in a specific university is being taught in English. But, the undergraduate courses in Taiwan mostly have mandatory subjects which are taught in Chinese even if the curriculum is in English. So, you may need to take the TOCFL test before you apply for the undergraduate program.
      My suggestion would be that you complete +2 and get a degree of 4 years in Bangladesh and then come here for masters. Masters courses are completely in English and you can do Chinese courses alongside your masters. Also, international students will get a scholarship for the first year and then for 3rd and 4th semesters depending on your grades you can claim the scholarship.
