This is the club dance in the movie "Step Up".There was enough videos on the last dance,so I figured you would all enjoy this one.Hope you do!Quality should be pretty darn good.
Ronen Noy What silj3 says is true. They do pick up steps fast, but it's because they have to. It's literally in the job description for a professional dancer. They gotta get it, get it fast, and stick it. It's like the whole premise of the show So You Think You Can Dance as well.
For ppl that didn’t know this was an actual party and the girls only knew the choreography. Channing was the only one who didn’t know the dance moves so everything is raw . This move captures its era perfectly
They showed this movie yesterday on Fox, and man this is still such a great movie. It's clearly the best in the entire franchise, it had the best storytelling, best acting, and probably the best music and choreography. I get that the sequels have bigger and crazier dance sequences, but that doesn't automatically mean they're better. It's also the darkest because someone actually dies, thus making this one the most relatable in my opinion. Oh and this dance scene was just fun, though I feel like Mario was a bit underused cause he's a great singer.
Absolutely. Very True. We Agree & We Concur 110% Ms. Meagan V. We Also LOVE The Fact That They Are Able To Keep Their Personal Family Circle Life Out of Blessed Hollywood Spotlight. Damn...years later and this is as enjoyable as it was the first time i saw it. This movie and especially this sequence was truly lightning caught in a bottle. From Tyler's blunders at trying to get the routine down to his wicked improv moves, which made it all the more realistic and added some light-hearted fun to it, to Drew's look of surprise and delight when Miles started to sing with her. And ofc the chemistry between the leads was off the damn scale. It's just a damn fun and catchy sequence from start to finish.
when i look back on the Step Up franchise, this one and the second movie were the only ones that had legit storylines and actors. 3 & 4 had really dope dancing but the acting was super cheesy...idk.
bxtchyoullsickle what i understand is 3 4 and 5 they started bringing on more world class dancers. like i see glitch, bboy cloud, kid david, madd chad, ect ect. they focused more on the dancing than the story which is a bummer but i think they make it up for the dancing. you cant argue that the dancing shown especially in 1 can hold a candle to the dancing in the later sequels.
Kai Lun Qu true but if i wanted to just watch dope dancing, i could watch youtube. in a movie, i'd hope to have at least some decent acting. sure it's a dance movie, but people forget that it's a MOVIE. movies need ACTORS. save the DANCERS for the background if they have no acting ability.
+bxtchyoullsickle Also i really liked all the characters in 1 & 2!! the other sequels and whatnot are like watching just a bunch of strangers dance for no reason! :O
In 3 the have Camille (Alison stoner ) she was in the first one, then Channing was in the second one for like 5 mins then she met moose who was in the 2, 3, 4 (5mins) and 5 so they all connect in some way
@@stirlingarcher7972 It's definitely curious how different the goal was between this movie and all the following ones. I personally like me some storyline therefore this one is the best for my taste but all the others were pretty ahead as far as the dancing went (even though the final dance on the first movie was cool to me)
@@OGKillerBee99 it was definitely cool, this one and the final one are my favs from this movie. I didn’t mean to imply the choreography was bad in this one, just that it was soo good in the following ones.
Though my injuries and age kept me from being as gung ho about seeing this film when it came out, I was still interested because I learned what I could of breakin and hip hop of the early 80's and always liked all styles. The sequels, satires, rip-offs and parodies distracted me further... and I FINALLY saw the film just a week ago. It was better than I expected and this scene is immensely enjoyable. Underrated in my opinion. It brought back how it felt to share that big pay off and fun after all that practice. It's when you want your friends to entertain each other, to show off because we truly like to see each other shine in that setting.
Channing & Jenna first met doing this movie. Fell min love, married in 2009 & had their daughter in 2012 I believe. You can see the attraction they had for each other in this movie.
Loved this scene. The music n the dancing was great. Yeah I would like to know to what is this song called. O wait I bet if we looked under sound track to the movie . I could find it?
I love this scene. I like how he has no idea what's going on and has to learn the dance that everybody else already knows. So sometimes he improvises and stuff, and this leads to moments like 2:29
what i absolutely love about this is the fact that its so real....he doesnt just magically know all the steps like other movies....crazy dope scene
Zara Dunn Like Bollywood lol
Zara Dunn yeah well he learned them pretty fucking fast
+Zara Dunn TRUE
Dancers pick up choreography pretty fast! I've seen it myself

Lol)) bro it's a scene
@@anton-do2rj nah it’s a real party u casual
This dance music, no disrespect, lends itself to free-style dancing more than other beats. So there's that as well.
@@Jaleelsou_this definitely a scene
The Miles flex to get his crush's attraction is PEAK
I feel like everyone knew what was happening except channing and they just threw him in and said "figure it out"
same
That was the point
That’s cause they genuinely did that to him he didn’t know the chores until they shot it he just picked it up really quickly
I don't think so because there's a video of him backstage rehearsing at the time of this scene, but it would have been amazing too
NAW FRL
Seeing old comments about how well Channing and Jenna are together has me like 😬
Same 🤣🤣🤣
Why
swan olsen They’re divorced.
Well they were good together at some point even if they did get divorced
@@ETYWTV I never said they weren't.
Love how he puts his own spin on the moves.
I used to be so obsessed with this scene when I was younger. I would try so hard to learn the dance...I never got it down though haha
I still am, it's intoxicating to watch every time I'm like I MUST DANCE AND I CANT DANCE TO SAVE A LIFE
SAME and yeah, I don't know what it is about this scene but like it's just great
+xClaireLouise1994 still do 🙋🏻
+YourLossLoser hahahahaaha i learned the dance ( ive been dancing since i was 4 though )

Several years later and you’re still right
What day was yesterday 7 years ago?
the cute thing about watching this movie is their real chemistry seeing as theyre married now
They broke up 💔
Yeah that didn't really work out
Such a pity
@@geminicoven9778 Ay at least they had 10-Years with each other. So it was all worth it.
Jacklyn Cunningham he’s now dating Jessie J.
I have watched this dance SO many time and every time I still love the choreography!
Lol he stand out from EVERYBODY in the club with that blue shirt on
black ninja that's the point.
"Didn't know u could dance without your tights."😂😍😍😂💀
Do u dance?
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, they go like hand in glove. They're really a rockin' couple

Clifford Virador AMEN TO THAT!!!!!
To bad they split up :-(
It's nice to see Channing and his wife in their early days
@MyBallsLow They weren't even married yet while filming. I meant to say, (especially with the movie then), soon-to-be wife.
OOF
Nothing is better than the original Step Up, no matter how many more they make!
I will never have complete happiness in life until I go to a club and this happens to me 👍🏻😊
carly ward lol I got bad news for you 😭
Precisely.😂😂😆😆
Yeah I wish I was a great dancer and went to a club and danced with channing Tatum too

Just watched this last night, still an iconic scene almost 10 years later. Drew, Mario, Jenna and Channing
Oooh when Tatum slides out like that alone. Dayum.
Ambrosius Anima He thought he had them Justin Timberlake moves
He has waaaaaaay more than that
I miss 2006! Watching this scene is so nostalgic. _Step Up_ 1 & 2 will always be the best _Step Up_ movies!
This is still the jam! Channing, Jenna, Mario and Drew...Ya'll Go!! First one's the best one - Step Up!

This is the only Dance I've seen in a movie that happens all in one motion, the dance never stops, best routine ever!!!! keeps you moving.
I love the song and this scene!!! Step Up (2006) is the best!
The black girl singing is SO pretty o.o
This is what I call a great line dance. Some of the stuff we do back home is so simple and oiky doke. I would really jam to this.
2019? ❤️
Seriously this is the best scene ever!
I love the dancing and I love when Drew looks at Mario when he starts to sing! I love them both; they have great voices!
This song always brings a smile to my face!
This is the best dance. Luv it. Step Up is the best movie eva

No matter how many new step ups they make, nothing will beat the original!!
The best part out of the rest of step ups

One of the best scenes in the movie. This is the only Step Up I love the others just aren't that good. Can't beat the original cast
Moose and Tyler together in Step Up Movie? Damn! How I wish

Best of the step ups! Not too cheesy just the right amount of dancing! Plus Mario is the man
this movie was not only about dance but music and hip hop culture aswell
2:47 that backflip then going back in the line was smooth af.
