You guys made a mistake on the squad being led by the Captain and Librarian in Term Armor. The Librarian doesn’t have that ability in his leader block like the Primaris Lieutenant and some other leader units, so he needs to lead his own unit or be a lone model.
Not if youre playing with friends like they are. Using your own rules is the way to play. I know multiple people who still play using 3rd edition rules. Unless you're playing in a tournament, playing by your own rules is the only way you should play tbh.

Everything's correct that you said but the ending statement a roll after your unit suffers damage that allows you to ignore the damage before removing casualties. So basically if you have a 5 up feel no pain you don't reduce the damage you block it
Love the Angry Army paint scheme on the Tyranids! I planned on starting my Tyranid army with Leviathan and expanding it with the new solo boxes expected in August … but I couldn’t wait so bought some ‘nids after the new index and datasheets were revealed. I have a mix of meta and rule of cool, including a Tyrannofex, 2 Carnifexes, Zoanthropes, and a Haruspex. TBH my Tyranids army isn’t as horde-y as I originally planned - I wanted it to be the antithesis of the elite Space Marines. Regardless, I now have a 2000 pt Tyranid army, although it’s not painted and only half assembled. I’m hoping to finish assembling the Leviathan Tyranids this weekend and get in a game or two. One of my friends is a Tyranid player and I’m eager to pit my new army against his old school army and see how I fare against his years of experience. I’m hoping that 10e might level the playing field, but we’ll see!
That tyranid colorscheme and painting-quality is absolutely beautiful. If I had the money, and anyone around here actually played WH40k, I'd definitely get myself some.
Actually got to Meet Stiffnexk Studios folks at Gen Con in I dianapolis in 2022 and they brought some of their work. Exceptional paint jobs. And really cool people. Genuine enthusiasts for the hobby, and for the games and settings like 40k they paint for.

Really love the Combat Patrol games, excited to see which factions come out on top! Plus the 30~40 minutes mark is a good compromise for quantity and quality. Keep up the great 40k content!

Just wanna throw out there on a ruling mistake. The Terminators can only have one of those leaders in their units. Librarian in Terminator is unfortunately not allowed to join a squad with a Captain and vice versa. There's a lot of odd restrictions with it all.

I believe it was mentioned in his Imperial Guard vs Eldari battle report. Just so long as the ones helping him out is not rude about it which I hope I didn't come off like that lol.
I believe the lethality of 10th has dropped significantly in comparison to 9th. This, I believe, is what makes the game now take longer than you would expect. (much less ap, more cover saves = more survivability and thus less lethality)

The quality of your videos is so good. Fun to watch and the paint jobs are amazing. There were several rule mistakes that could have made the game game-breakingly onesided but since neither player knew how to use various combos and unlucky dice rolls, it pretty much negated the advantages gained from misinterpreting the rules. Fun watch for the first game hope to see more as you guys learn the rules since your videos are some of the best quality.
Find someone who looks at you the way Joe looks at Tyran... actually maybe not. I've never seen someone treat 40k like a esport and that's... spectacular.

I got a request for you Joe. Can you review the movie Sound of Freedom. The film is based on a true story and is focused on child trafficking. The studio behind the movie wants get 2 million people to see it in theaters as that number is how many children are being trafficked each year. The trailers state this is the fastest growing illegal trade is almost surpassing the drug trade as “drugs can be sold once but a child 5-10 times a day.” This movie looks well made but hard to watch as pre the subject.
Well, the Leviathan box set, just like every other launch box set released by GW, heavily favours the Speeesh Mahreens. The units are not really equal at all... need look no further than the flamer guys really. So the only option is hoping the mahreens player makes enough mistakes or rolls horribly enough to allow the 'nids to grab the win. GW makes really nice models, the 40k setting is awesome... but they are really horrible at writing rules and balancing the armies. And they never learn from previous mistakes.
Joe claims to be a superman fan yet all he ever reviews are Marvel shows. How come no reviews on superman and lois? The best adaptation of superman in many decades.

Feel No Pain is one save per wound. So for example when a 2 damage weapon hits you, you roll 2 dice and every save reduces the damage by 1.

Yo Joe, as a heads up for the Guard I would suggest getting some Rogal Dorn tanks. Those things hit like trucks and are pretty durable.

the points are 780 vs 980 without rippers. so with rippers that 815 and with lictor is 890. till down by 90. throw in 3 melee warriors and youre set
