I echo the point about not taking your grandparents for granted. I never met my dad’s parents, his mum died one month before I was born but I’ve been told that they were lovely people. And my Nanna died when I was 5 so I don’t have many memories of her. Ask them questions, get them to tell you stories about their lives and spend time with them, because I’ve never been able to and wish I could have got to know them.

I miss my grandfather. He was a sweet man. I wish my grandmother never abused him or my mother. My dad’s dad died when he was 3 and my dad’s mom died shortly after I was born. I’m happy you have such lovely memories with your grandparents ❤️ I’d do anything to have such amazing memories with my last living grandparent 😭 unfortunately she is way too abusive. I still try to visit her on her birthday and Christmas tho 😩 maybe one day

Aloe Vera is toxic to cats, maybe consider keeping it somewhere Nellie can't reach it. My cat likes to eat house plants too so I have to be really careful about which ones are cat safe 😺
