In my company, we use accfarm.com to buy Facebook accounts. As a developer, I had no issues with what they have bought. So I can recommend them as I think it's a highly reliable website.
Go to Settings- Edit page and then choose the Template to be set on Shopping ;) Put Off Use default tabs, then move arround the tabs as you wish to appear on your page. Thx for this video!

Thank you so much. I realize this is a two year old post, but it really helped me with our FB page setup. Things have changed a bit, but I was still able to navigate. Still some tweaking to do and I was wondering how to set up a direct buy from the FB page rather than having customers travel over to our website.

Quick question,
After setting up a business page, shop etc can I edit my privacy of my page from few friends etc or does it have to be completely public and that any one can be seeing it?
Also, suppose I have already edited privacy settings on my personal fb page will that same privacy settings apply to my business page as well as and when I publish it?
If not then how can I apply that same privacy settings to my business page but make it open to public at the same time?

Thank you! Your tutorial was so helpful. I have been trying to set up my shop for awhile now. I have seen other tutorials but yours was spot on! Even though it was created a few years ago (2017) and this is now 2019.....and some things have changed just a little.... I was able to figure it out. I also checked out the Three Bird Nest page shop and I will be purchasing your Canva training if it is still available. I'll be going to your page to take a look. Again, thank you so very much. I am technically challenged and you were very informative and walked us/me through it. you made it so simple and understandable. That was sooooooo helpful. I was able to pause your video, jump over on my FB page and set up and edit and then continue along with you in phases.

Ruby Scrawls yes, it’s free. They don’t take a percentage. I think it can be very helpful for some businesses on FB, especially if you don’t have a website with a shopping cart. I have a client who owns a pie business and she uses the FB shop to take payments and orders - works great!

go into templates first, then hit add tab if you don't see shop already. It will show up.

Thank you very much. This was a great informative video. Last week I had tried to add a product on my shop page but that was rejected by Facebook. When searched at Google I was advised to incorporate "Amazon Affiliate Disclaimer" & "FTC Affiliate Disclaimer" policies on the page. Please advise me as to how can I do it.

How is it one actually recieves payment?
I think you have to click on one of the products on your fb shop. It will ask you how to receive payment...thru strupe,etc.

You have to add it as a tab
Is a Facebook shop a standalone shop, or does it work in conjunction with a Shopify store?
I just started my own gift basket making w/ custom tumblers and wine glasses, so nervous to start on FB!! Is FB the best way to sell my baskets? It seems to be the least expensive way to showcase my products, I'm very new to starting my own business and not financially savvy so hoping FB makes it easy as possible.

Nancy Kahl well, I’ve responded to quite a few and edited the description of the video recently to address the FAQ’s. I’m not on here every day as I run a business and a family full time, so I do the best I can.
I don't want to sound negative, but it does seem like you don't have an issue with responding to compliments. But, you often don't answer, what I can only assume, are tough questions.
I don't have an edit page tab at all under the settings
But how do you get it into the market place? My page is one thing but much more traffic in the market place.

The page looks a bit different now (2 years after your vid) than shown here but i eventually figured it out...My question is: Im a small biz selling antiques... it looks like facebook has its own payment provider option (5% on total sale fee) which is fine for me. Could this be a better option than stripe etc...? Can customers pay with paypal thru this? THX!

Hi! Great video! I have read the FB terms and there is a lot about fee's they charge. I still am not sure if this applies to me? I only want to use FB shop to advertise my products and direct them to another website check out. So It seems to me that FB charges for this? I will not be collecting payments through FB. I want to use this to launch a clothing brand. Every piece if clothing I will buy an extra blank shirt/hoodie/shoes for the homeless. Also meals as well. I feel it could go pretty far and also branch it out into suicide prevention
