Just went back to take another look at sweet talk & it is just so adorable on you taz! It really an adorable wig, I'm loving it..all the colors were great in this one!
This style is on my wish list. Blond colors are often so similar it can be tough to choose between them especially when you can't see them in person. Seeing different colors on the same style is the best way to see the subtle differences, IMO. I need cooler/ashy blonds and have to stay away from golden/warm/brassy ones and appreciate the amount of detail you provide, all the way down to the hues of the rooting. Your styling ideas are truly adorable! It's easy to fall into a "rut" of wearing a wig the same way all the time. I love new ways and ideas to shake things up, and to change the "feel" of a wig for different outfits. And happy birthday, many more to come! You have a great attitude and way of carrying yourself - it communicates so much joy and youthfulness that I honestly think of you as ten years younger.
I've had my eye on Sweet Talk, but I fear the big, round mass of chaotic curls would only make my long, narrow face look longer. You wear it beautifully, Taz. Buttered Toast....yes, please! Thank you for showing this color. It'll be my go-to when it comes to Gabor. Great review!

You have such a cute and sweet personality. Just love watching your reviews. This one is very beneficial to see the various blondes. I am always searching for a no gold, yellow blonde. I wish the mfgrs would use a dark ash root with less yellow tones. Super good ideas for hair accessories. Amazing how good wigs look now.
I sooo agree on the root input! The softer neutral ash brown root would be such a winner or even a bit warmer light brown root for those whose preference is warmer but not these really dark or brassy/ yellow tones. Yes it does add dimension but sometimes too much and too harsh. Wig makers, take note of our suggestions, it seems to be a universal constructive comment!!👍😉!!

I’m wondering if you have a video somewhere that I have missed that explains what you do when you say you “work with” a wig. I’ve seen your thinning video, but I’m thinking you may mean something else when you say “I need to work with this wig a little bit”. This was a really great re review Taz. I have ST in Shaded Praeline but now you’ve got me salivating over that one in Buttered Toast. Do you think those two colors are too similar for me to notice much difference? As always you look terrific in every shade! Hi Taz!!! I ordered a sweet talk colour 15-26 buttered toast and it looks nothing like yours :( I am so disappointed because I was so looking forward to it. There’s no light brown whatsoever , it’s blond from the roots and I absolutely hate that. I have always loved darker roots, it makes it look so much nicer. I am going to try to return it. This wig reminds me of Belle Tress Kona a bit except Kona is a bit more choppy rather than defined curls dont you think? Hi Susan! From what I remember of Kona, it was a bit longer than Sweet Talk... had less permatease than ST. And youre right.. the texture was more shattered than ST. XOXO
My 18-23 does the very same thing with the floppy bang piece. It seems to be permanently like that. I have worked and worked with and still don’t know what to do with it. Unfortunately it prevents me from wearing it. Love it otherwise, but that is a disappointment.

I find it goes well with edgier, rock-chic inspired dressing styles. It makes me think of RoP Mocaccino on steroids. Something in the dark ash/light blond contrast.

Can you tell me which of the more brunette shades is lighter/brighter - toasted pecan or the buttered toast? I am going to order another Gabor wig but cannot decide which color to get between these two, as I really like them both. For reference, my favorite colors are JR's Venice Blonde and JR's Palm Springs Blonde, but am wanting to try a couple brunettes with blonde highlights. I love this on you but it looks shorter on other people? I want it to hit my jawline in the front. I love the curl pattern on this one. I bought Girl Mono and loved it but just a bit too short and maybe not enough hair. I have Hayden by Margu and she is a good length but not enough curl/wave. I scrunch it a lot and it works ok though.
Could you advice me on a possible substitute for ‚Ice Blonde‘ from RoP/Amore? I found my perfect match with that color, but of course, I don’t want to be limited to that brand. Especially, since they hardly have any mid length curvy/wavy wigs, unfortunately. I have the Rae and am going to order the Evanna Mono as well, but that’s about it. My favorite ashy blondes are Palm Springs Blonde by Jon Renau, Toasted Pecan by Gabor, Ice Blonde by ROP, Sandstone by Tony Of Beverly, and Butterbeer Blonde by Belle Tress:-)
How does the Gabor Sunkissed Beige (unrooted) compare with Belle Tress' Marshmallow Blonde (also unrooted)? I'm guessing that the Marshmallow Blonde is a little lighter?
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET Gabor has a GL23/101 and a GL23/101SS. The latter is rooted. Are you saying that even the GL23/101 has a soft root? If so, I would not buy it. On the subject of roots showing, I think it's very interesting that at least half, if not more women with their natural roots showing (women not wearing wigs) are grey or white haired who have dyed their hair some other color. And yet we see NO rooted wigs that look like this. I'm not suggesting that wig makers start doing this! I think that all rooted wigs look terrible. When I first started seeing all the celebrities wearing rooted wigs (about 10 years ago at least), I thought to myself, "They're being paid many millions of dollars, and they can't afford to have their roots touched up?!" It just looks so cheap to me - on a par with ripped jeans which is another look that I hate. After a while everyone gets used to it and then it starts to look more normal. But every time I see any actress with her roots showing, I think to myself, "She's wearing a wig." Your videos are so helpful. Please let me know if the GL23/101 is also "soft rooted". Hi Gerri! It is similar to Violet in that they are both short wavy styles.. Sweet Talk is more rounded and has more volume, lift and permatease, based on my opinion and the samples that I have. XOXO

So back in the day when I wore lotsa wigs we didn't have lace front, or at least I didn't know about them. So I'm not sure how you wear them. Is gluing involved? Idk, really sad ik. Can u explain them to me.

Stretch gently with fingers.. if you need more loosening, dip into warm water, dry on wig stand and stretch curls with fingers a few times as it dries. Hope this helps! XOXO
I'm curious about your headband. I believe you refer to it as a square headband. I looked on Amazon under hinged headband. I do not see it on your list of accessories. Is there an advantage to this as apposed to a regular curved headband?

Make sure you know your measurement from hairline to chin.. mine is only 6.5".. if yours is longer, this wig will appear shorter:-)

How does the Gabor Sunkissed Beige (unrooted) compare with Belle Tress' Marshmallow Blonde (also unrooted)? I'm guessing that the Marshmallow Blonde is a little lighter?
I think MB is a bit brighter, less yellow tones and the SB is soft rooted, so that will change it a bit as well XOXO
@@TAZSWIGCLOSET Gabor has a GL23/101 and a GL23/101SS. The latter is rooted. Are you saying that even the GL23/101 has a soft root? If so, I would not buy it.
On the subject of roots showing, I think it's very interesting that at least half, if not more women with their natural roots showing (women not wearing wigs) are grey or white haired who have dyed their hair some other color. And yet we see NO rooted wigs that look like this. I'm not suggesting that wig makers start doing this! I think that all rooted wigs look terrible. When I first started seeing all the celebrities wearing rooted wigs (about 10 years ago at least), I thought to myself, "They're being paid many millions of dollars, and they can't afford to have their roots touched up?!" It just looks so cheap to me - on a par with ripped jeans which is another look that I hate. After a while everyone gets used to it and then it starts to look more normal. But every time I see any actress with her roots showing, I think to myself, "She's wearing a wig."

Hi Gerri! It is similar to Violet in that they are both short wavy styles.. Sweet Talk is more rounded and has more volume, lift and permatease, based on my opinion and the samples that I have. XOXO

Hi Stacy! This is not a heat friendly style. I have used steam on non heat friendly wigs before, but no heat appliances. XOXO

So back in the day when I wore lotsa wigs we didn't have lace front, or at least I didn't know about them. So I'm not sure how you wear them. Is gluing involved? Idk, really sad ik. Can u explain them to me.

Hey Taz if curls are to tight what's best way to loosen them ?
Stretch gently with fingers.. if you need more loosening, dip into warm water, dry on wig stand and stretch curls with fingers a few times as it dries. Hope this helps! XOXO

I'm curious about your headband. I believe you refer to it as a square headband. I looked on Amazon under hinged headband. I do not see it on your list of accessories. Is there an advantage to this as apposed to a regular curved headband?
