A school that I applied to that has the DLI but no PGWP told me at the interview when I asked about the PGWP told me I won’t need that since I will get employed directly most probably before I finish my course through one of the institutions they do placement with ……how true is that

What people do now is they use private colleges to get visa and change to PGWP Schools while in Canada. Getting admission to cheap PGWP Schools from outside is very tough and competitive. Try it and thank me later
Short answer is do your research before you apply - find schools that offer the option to get a PGWP when you complete and offer the programs that you're interested in.

It’s very normal for a school to be dli without offering pgwp. In those instances, usually the school has a team that helps the student to find a job upon graduation. You can then use your job offer to get a work permit. Or you can continue your education at a different school if you want.
There's always that possibility to when you get to Canada🇨🇦, switch to another college that offers PGWP programs. That obtains for many international students.... just log on into ur account and enter the details; name of college and program
Need to read the fine print on college tuition refund policy. Some colleges don't offer full refund (if anything at all). Another issue is the timing of the tuition refund.
Please what if I got admission from a college with which I use for the visa application but after my visa is approved I applied to a different college because their fees are much cheaper.
