Oakdale Cotton Mill Village is a tiny little area tucked away in Jamestown, NC next to the abandoned Oakdale Mill, which closed permanently in 2006. All of the houses are abandoned except for one. Most of the houses were built in the early 1900's, all the way up to the 1940's. The Oakdale School which was built by the Oakdale Mill in 1912, merged with the Jamestown School in 1943 and closed its doors permanently, - บันเทิง
Yes that. Was a clothesline pole. I Still hang clothes out because I prefer the fresh air smell 😊
I went out there last summer. I was yelled at. So I left. You got more than I did.
I was surprised I didn’t get yelled at honestly! The family that lives there was definitely suspicious. I wanted to try and get access to the mill but pretty much impossible and was stopped and asked if I was lost, so I abandoned that idea. Glad to get the footage I did.
@@NerdEpix I want to go back. I want to see if you can get access to the damn and bridge over the river.
@@timewithoutconsequence4611 What sucks is that people are so suspicious nowadays because a lot of people want to vandalize or cause other issues and that makes it difficult for us to explore and document.
Time stamp on factory please
Sure thing. @ 6:37 is when I get a shot of the mill. I couldn't get access to it though, since I was stopped earlier and was asked why I was driving around that area. I abandoned that idea and just went to the village area.
Go back at night with ghost hunting equipment!
I wish. Every house has a no trespassing sign on it. If I had lights out there, I’m sure I’d have the cops called on me. Would be epic though!
I was there today. There are a lot of stray cats now
Was run by the Ragsdale family
Don't be so scared
@@williammurray8060 I wouldn't say scared, more so trying to be cautious and not get arrested.
