Flowerboy is a project that didn't resonate with me much when it released... but I'm older now. My perception of the world is different now. Most importantly, I can relate to Tyler's struggle now. This project is an intelligently inspired, elaborately written, and heart-shatteringly performed masterpeice articulating the struggle of being lonely.

i feel ya man, this void feeling or feeling of alienation gets to a lot of us. if anything don't percieve it negatively but in how you choose to think of it. all you can do is think of it positively and make the best of it. my day to day routine summed up .
For me, Flower Boy had a different meaning, because of where I was in my life when it came out. At the time, it was the summer between the end of highschool and the beginning of college. It was also the summer I turned 17. I was starting to become more of an adult (still don't really feel like one, even though I'm turning 23 in a few days) and it was the beginning of me trying to find things that I found important in life. And what I found, and still find, most important in my life is the time I spend with people I care about. And that's what this album will always remind me of
This, of course, has nothing to do with the albums lyrical content, and this video is a great analysis of that, but that's what I'll always associate this album with

I'm both queer and autistic just like Tyler, and am doing really good but am really lonely as well, so Flower Boy hit so much and is such a personal and relatable album to me
But hearing him on Call Me If You Get Lost made me admire him even more because of his "fuck them" mentality

I didn’t Flower Boy except for a few songs but, after listening to it many times now god I so appreciate and love this album now. I love Boredom but at the same time it makes me uncomfortable cause it speaks too close to me. Like I wish I could do so much better in life.

Tylers best work is Flowerboy..igore is tylers second best work. Flowerboy will always come 1st for me just cause the production of that album is INSANELY good! And the songs are so relatable. And hit hard. Personally Flowerboy is his Masterpiece.

I see November as the period of life as the end of Spring. Spring represents growth and youth (adolescence), and November being the end of it. That’s why Tyler can’t get back to November, because he’s trying to relive the memories and emotions, but he’s seeing it wrong as you can’t just go back in time to your youth, no matter how much you want to.
