    Zach sounds like the grumpy old men from the Muppet Show. I approve this shop banter.

    After doing fork seals today for the very first time (still not done, I got hung up on the part where I’m trying to put the cap back on but was struggling with the spring, I will try your wrench tip in the A.M and get back to ya on how it worked, I’m praying this works haha) but I have to say I am extremely impressed on how quickly and smoothly you did that. It’s not as easy as it looks for a noob, and you sir are a true professional. I hope to learn more tricks and get more comfortable working on bikes and eventually acquire a wealth of knowledge like you have. Anyways enough ranting, great video man! I know I’m a bit late to the party but keep posting videos because you are helping a lot of people and saving them from messing something up.

      @@highlandcycles update* your tip worked really well!! I was dreading going back to working on these forks because I tried for over an hour last night before I watched this video to get the cap on, but this morning I tried the wrench trick and on the first try got that cap on with no struggle at all. You’re a life saver 🤙

    Hey, thanks for the tip about starting any Amazon shopping with your store link!! Even since I don't have a dirt bike. Well, I do have a 1964 BSA 250C15 S Scrambler. I noticed you were using a bulk sprayer for "contact cleaner" What do you use in it? Whenever I check on going back to using mine I find our
    local NAPA had CRC on sale at a price that beats any bulk cleaner I can find. When I had 3-4 techs working for me I found the cans were a better option for them to use. That way they had some idea just how much they were using up!!! Ride Safe..Ride Often..Have Fun!

    What do you think about running 10w fork oil? 320cc Kx100 2018. My son is 115 pounds.

    • @highlandcycles
      @highlandcycles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That would be fine if you feel like you need to slow the forks down.

      I had the same issue. Kept spinning no matter how much pressure was against the rod. Ended jamming a 13inch flat head down in there and got it to stop spinning.
