Actually there is no permanent solution to this issue . Google no longer supports TH-cam for older versions of android. Only u can use any alternative application for TH-cam or use TH-cam.com on ur browser.

Yes it is safe to use The current version doesn't lets us sign in to our google account So there no chance of any account hacking And i am using it since months and never had any problem So if its 100% safe to use .
