Tiff….I don’t know you. I don’t know Toni. But, I’ve watched all your videos, so I FEEL like I know you….and when I was watching the hurricane news, all I thought of was you guys. Glad you’re safe. 😊
Hope you put your dad in your videos when he visits again. He was so fun to watch in the deck redo videos. And yes you should change the floor when you get the time and money to 😁
My daughter (9) loves how Tony edits your videos. She gets a lot of ideas on how to update our home from you guys. She says she hopes you both were safe during the storm.
So glad to know y'all made it through OK again 😊. My bestie and family live in Bradenton and they made it through safely as well. I think I was more worried than she was lol. Cried a ton and barely slept, I'm in Arizona so of course all I had was the awful news predictions and updates fueling my nightmares when the power went out and she couldn't message me. Heard from her last night and today and it's back to business as usual for them, minor clean up and spotty internet is all. I truly pray for everyone who hasn't been as lucky from both hurricanes and hope nothing else hits. The resolve of folks who live in areas prone to natural disasters is truly something else - y'all some tough cookies! Take care and best of luck with everything 🙂
You two make me laugh! I laughed a lot watching this. I really like how relatable you both seem. How do you feel about possibly doing a Q&A together. It would be nice to learn more about you and your talents!
Love watching your ideas come to life. I would love to do these wood strips on a room in my house. If you lived here, I’d hire you! Thank you…happy that you guys are okay from the hurricanes. Take care. 🤗💖
I came here from Midwest Magic Cleaning and I gotta say I love your channel! it's so relaxing, and it gives me ideas since I'm in my own remodeling process- subscribed!
I'm so glad you're considering centering the bed and getting it away from the wall. I enjoy your process. You remind me of myself. Working out glitches as you go. Yay, you made it through Helene and Milton.
Glad you made it through the hurricanes ok! We’re in GA so Helene came through with a lot of heavy rain for us. Excited to see this room make over! I get that you wanted to do it on an extreme budget, but I’m glad you’re redoing it to make it beautiful and peaceful for your guests! ❤
Super cute, I love the color!! Bendito que bueno que Milton was nice to you guys!!! I too live in Florida (Homestead). 😂 you guys remind me of me and my partner😂😂
Omg Tiff I’m glad you guys were safe I can’t imagine still doing things while sick but I’m glad you got it done you GO GIRLLLL . 😊THE WALLS LOOK ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
Tiff, you’re doing an amazing job, the panelled accent wall looks great and the solution you brainstormed to make the space look even between the strips works!! I’m guessing you’re going to refinish the small chest of drawers? You can just paint then if your not feeling it though. I know you’re working super hard but Please put new flooring down. I known the office is linoleum and that’s a super budget friendly option. The carpet is just an awful color and looks old, thin and ratty. New flooring will make a huge difference (even more than paint the walls) You’re putting so much work into this room. I would definitely do it if were you.
Thanks for the suggestion. I definitely don’t like the carpet and will most likely do the flooring. It’s not a final decision yet, but I’m leaning towards changing it :)
I’m so glad the algorithm gods showed me one of your videos! Now I’ve watched 4 in a row, and you are hilarious and talented. I want to learn how to DIY my master bathroom, guest bathroom, and guest bedroom/office. Learning so much from you!
I'm very grateful 🙏🏻 to hear that you are all okay after those terrible hurricanes!! 🌀🌊 I have been glued to every tv station that has covered them. My very brave and beautiful daughter is a Medic on a cruise 🛳 liner, so to say I've been worried, is an understatement! They are currently sailing to Fort Lauderdale and I'm very relieved that the weather has calmed down now🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 Anyway, I'm looking so forward to your next video and hope you are feeling much better too 🤗
I've done a lot of house painting in my 70 years (still doing it). I learned that a higher quality paint is always worth the cost. My preference is for Benjamin Moore, but Sherwin Williams is good, too. More expensive paints have a higher pigmentation ratio so the coverage and durability are great. I also learned that a matte finish for the walls gives a truer color (no reflective shine) and is much easier for touch ups.
New subscriber here. I can already tell this is going to look gorgeous. I can't wait to watch the next, and in the meantime, I'll play catch-up on your videos. ❤❤❤
I'm so glad you made it through the hurricanes safely! Also... if i were sick and got home and realized they gave me the wrong paint, I would have just gone to sleep and tried again the next day. Props to you for going back and finishing haha
Glad yall are safe!!! I watched the last video and all I thought was … I want to help them redo it again!!!!!!!!! Watching this video made me subscribe lol. Love what you’re doing!!!
So happy you all made it safely through the hurricane with only minimal cleanup! Great job on the guest room so far! Looking forward to seeing the whole process and how it looks when done! 😊
So glad to hear y'all are OK. Hope you didn't lose power. The guest room is looking good. Can't wait to see the next video. I hope you are feeling better.
The room is looking good, I like the paint color. Didn't realize last week, there were strips on the wall. I like the ones you added to camouflage them. Yes, hurricane. I'm north of Tampa, we got hit pretty hard, still without power; they're saying maybe by next Tuesday. Thank God it's not as hot, the storm called it off a bit.
I spent almost a year remodeling a single-wide trailer for my brother and myself. Those strips are a nightmare. We pulled and mudded every one just because they were horrible. I feel your pain over them.
My 1950s kit house has the strips, as well as corner and ceiling trim strips. It was part of the quick-build. Past owners mudded everything except the bedrooms. I lean into the stripey look there whenever I can. 😊 It's historic!
I've seen the aftermath of Hurricane Milton on our local news and I'm glad you got through it safely. I look forward to seeing the next video of the completed room. Keep safe and get well soon.
Tiff, so happy to hear you all made it through Helene & Milton safe and sound. I’m in Ohio and my company was effected due to we have distributors and departments in Tampa that we work with and to hear how bad it got for some was truly heartbreaking. I wish everyone well that was effected by these devastating storms.
I’m glad you made it through Milton OK. It was quite the storm. I live in North Florida so we did not feel the effects as bad as folk down south. I love watching your videos. Keep up the good work.
Glad you were okay during the hurricane, i live in Florida to but was mandatory evacuated so i went to Georgia and stayed with family, luckily my home is fine and i am back in it
This video is editing masterpiece. I laughed so much, and I needed it. Please send Toni on more errands, we need such segment in every video! (sorry Toni). Very glad you made it out ok, please keep doing what you're doing - the way you're doing it, and for the love of mother nature, get some rest. 🌸
Miter station FTW with this project...always makes those repetitive cuts so much easier. The room looks great!! I'm glad you all made it through the storm without too much damage. I thought it was going to be like Irma again. Our area got pretty lucky overall ❤
Hi! Mack from Midwest Magic Cleaning mentioned your channel so I decided to check you out! I love your video. It’s late here but I will be checking out your other videos.
So thankful to hear you ladies made it through Milton with little to no real harm. I just started watching your channel a few weeks ago and truly love watching you create new, updated ideas. You are very talented and love the chemistry between both of you. I look forward to many more videos. 😊
I like the color choice, I don't know if it's my Chromebook and how it shows the color on screen but I like how it's faintly green like a super pale green borderline white. I loved the Bonus Mini adventure with Toni, The quest for a new coffee maker because she just described what happened to my old one 3 months ago. and an exploding glass coffee pot is not only dangerous if anyone was near it. (fortunately no one was) but the mess of a fresh pot of steaming hot coffee all over your counters and everywhere else especially when a full pot was made is not just a nightmare it is torture to clean up.
Glad you guys made it through both hurricanes! The first one flooded my grandma‘s house with about 2 feet of water. And the second storm didn’t really do anything to her home, my house lots of downed trees that I need to clean up and I still do not have power And probably won’t for several days
I'm so happy that you made it through the hurricane with minimal damage and that you, your other half and your furry friends are all safe. Sending you love from England. 🇬🇧 🏴
What a great solution for those pesky drywall lines! Can wait to see the finish product. Love that creamy color! I’m glad you guys fared well throughout the storm. It was a scary one.
I’m not a hater.I think you’re channel is awesome and you’ve given me the confidence that I feel I can start renovating- but of course I’m still renting, lol 😂. But in my sister’s house. That being said, in case you’re not aware, the strips are Plumb not level. Plumb is vertical and level is horizontal.
Just found you and great video! You sound a lot like me when I'm trying to decide what to do. I'm glad you made it through Helene and Milton with minimal damage. We are in St Augustine and got very lucky where we are.
If someone wants to point out that something isnt center on YOUR project....umm ya, I cant say what I am thinking lol. Also LOL'd when you asked what took so long!!!! Scene from a horror movie?! OMG dying here! Love watching these vidoes!! Glad you made it though Milton.
Glad to hear you and Toni are okay! Can't wait for the update on this room too! I've binge watched your videos for the past 2 weeks 😂 amazing stuff and so inspiring!
I just did this in my daughters room about two weekends ago, it was a lot more work than I thought as well, plus I didn't have a nail gun but it was worth it. I did it as a feature wall since she doesn't have a headboard. Our boards are a tad wider.
So glad you both came through the storms okay. That's a really nice, soothing color you chose. I'm in agreement with you about trim work. I can't stand doing any type of drywall patching, but I'll trim out a room all day long. And yes, paint is such a big bang for your buck and totally transforms a space, but I'm also not a big fan of painting. Looking forward to seeing you complete the rest of the room. Cheers!
I have been using a color called Looking Glass by Behr it has a very little touch of green in it. I have been using it as an accent on some small pieces of furniture in my living room. It looks like a light grey, but it isn't.

Wow, how come Paint is so expensive in the US? 😱 I understand that its not the cheapest Prodcut you chose, but....wow. BTW I love your channel. I generally like DIY and Makeovers, but the storytelling of your videos is outstanding.
My husband always insisted on thinning out the paint, adding water, so it would go further- he was born just after the depression. I kept telling him that we'd have to do 2 or 3 coats because of it, but he wouldn't listen, ugh.

Flat paint the problem is if you put tape like command hook high chance that it will take layer of paper off.

You always doubt yourself, but it always turns out beautiful ! Great job, looks great !
Glad you are both ok after the hurricanes. Hopefully, that is it for the season, eh? Love your videos! A new-ish 🍁Canadian fan!

Oh I can imagine! At least in our home is only in the bedrooms and bathrooms, the living room and kitchen they did regular drywall with texture!

Glad you guys are safe and well! The guest room color looks looks good and peaceful, nice choice. Feel better soon🙏🏽
Oh no! I can imagine it would be a nightmare to clean up 😭
Glad you guys made it through both hurricanes! The first one flooded my grandma‘s house with about 2 feet of water. And the second storm didn’t really do anything to her home, my house lots of downed trees that I need to clean up and I still do not have power And probably won’t for several days

So glad y’all are safe & had minimal damage!
So glad you gals are O.K. 🙏 The room looks REALLY good. I can't wait to see the rest of the makeover. 😊
Que suerte q están bien. Parece q el 17 va a haber otro. Manténganse a salvo ❤
Can't wait for the final results!
Just found you and great video! You sound a lot like me when I'm trying to decide what to do. I'm glad you made it through Helene and Milton with minimal damage. We are in St Augustine and got very lucky where we are.
Glad you are both safe , thanks for the idea's love your videos.
I love your videos. Can’t wait to see more.
Cheers!
Mac from Midwest Magic Cleaner sent me. I agree with him, you're funny!
Lol I'm a 2 coats of primer 2 coats of gal also. Drives my partner crazy. But it always looks good and lasts a long time.
I am so, so happy to hear you two made it through okay. You were both in my prayers!
You are so much fun to watch.
Get well very soon!
How's the new coffee maker?
Is very good actually we love it!
I'm so excited about this. It's exactly what i wanted for my mobile home bedroom. Another fantastic job completed.
I have been using a color called Looking Glass by Behr it has a very little touch of green in it. I have been using it as an accent on some small pieces of furniture in my living room. It looks like a light grey, but it isn't.
Thank you for explaining that. I appreciate your channel
Thanks for explaining the strips. I thought those were only on walls in a double wides.
New subscriber, sent from Mack's shoutout at Midwest Magic Cleaning. You do really nice work! Enjoyed watching your video, and will check out some more.
Glad you survived Milton :)
Glad you both are okay......
A counter sink tool will help push those small nails in to you can’t see them.
What were the strips nailed to? Just the drywall? A few dollops of pl premium might've been a good idea, although the caulk will help hold it.
Change the flooring and keep the bed.
Haha...whenever I DIY I experience a lot of "guidelines violation." Thankfully my pups are the only ones around lol
😂
Tony cam ❤
I'm glad my two friends survived
Wow, how come Paint is so expensive in the US? 😱 I understand that its not the cheapest Prodcut you chose, but....wow. BTW I love your channel. I generally like DIY and Makeovers, but the storytelling of your videos is outstanding.
I’ve never seen drywall like this before, did the builder not tape and mud?.
My husband always insisted on thinning out the paint, adding water, so it would go further- he was born just after the depression. I kept telling him that we'd have to do 2 or 3 coats because of it, but he wouldn't listen, ugh.
