Stationary isn't even something that would cross my mind to save in an emergency. If all the pens I own get buried under my apartment building during a big earthquake 🤷 I'm saving the electronics and backup HDs. I have too many mugs to save them all (I collect Starbucks mugs) so I'd probably grab the nearest one.

@@XSemperIdem5 I think I would do the same. As a digital artist mostly, that would be the best course of action. But I would be sad about the books. I have too many, I know, and it would be impossible to save just my absolute favourites, so my whole book collection would be gone :,)

Ahh yes! We can be so consumerist and it drives people away. I don't watch too many study channels for this reason but this video interested me. I literally made a new pencil case to keep me from taking 15 highlighters everywhere.
Seeing comments talking about how someone needs more stationery or can't get any because of where they live breaks my heart. Stationery is fun to collect but people shouldn't have to feel bad for not having enough.
@@AHuman-qf5tv Exactly!!! Having so many supplies ends up becoming stressful at some point tbh, because its heavy to carry around and switching between so many supplies is exhausting.
aside from not only making people feel bad, it also just takes away from the original purpose of making nicer notes. if your only focus is to try and compete to make the best possible looking notes, how much of your time is actually devoted to learning and memorizing the material you're studying? i remember feeling like if i didn't have xyz pens, i couldn't make nice notes, or i had to wait to get things before i started properly studying. unfortunately the consumerist outlook is harmful in many ways

5/8, I was kinda shocked about some things
The Sarasa doesn't count if it has a different ink refill...
I think she might have switched the body she uses the energel refill in again because they're no longer compatible with the newer/current models but had always been with the Sarasa (tried and true combo.)

The pen body I usually recommend to friends that hold their pens near the tip is the Uni-ball Signo RT1. The smooth rubber grip extends almost all the way to the tip and it's very compatible with most gel refills. The pentel energel refills fit perfectly.

I have a very tiny pencil case as a minimal everyday carry to save weight so I sort of have to do this challenge anyway, I currently have a mechanical pencil with 2b lead, the pentel 05 pen (snap), a two color(green and blue) pen which top look like a koala, a little square rubber which fits at the end of the pens, a tiny metal folding ruler and my twsbi 580 EF nib pen (with what ever fun colors ink I’m using at the moment). I have had a blue highlight in there in the past but I don’t currently need it
I personally love, I MEAN LOVE the Pilot G2 0.7mm, I think that this pen is highly under rated!!!💕
I used to have a huge marker, highlighter, pen, and pencil collection. I just keep a regular black ballpoint & gel pen, .5mm & 1.0mm mechanical pencil, regular wood pencil, eraser pen, black Sharpie marker and yellow Sharpie highlighter. I also have a ruler, protractor, compass, and shapes templates.

Hi Jasmine! Thanks for the awesome video as always. I'd like to know what you (or anyone else) thinks in regards to the Tombow Fudenoske vs. the Pentel Fude touch you most often use. I'm a brush lettering beginner and was wondering why you preferred it over other brush pens? And if anyone else sees this comment, which do you guys prefer more?

As a fellow Californian, I can agree. Just a few days ago, there was a minor earthquake. I searched it up and fair enough, there are 3-10 minor ones per week for the past month :). I love cali nature.

Tbh I’m not the biggest stationary fan (kinda wish i was because i just finished off my second year of college with a pencil, sharpener, eraser, blue and black pens, and a few highlighters. I am not kidding. My notes look like the final words of a detainee that spend 50 years in isolation) but i love jasmine and all her content so i am always here even if its not something i completely vibe with.

Hmmmm. I really want to love Sarasa pens but the ones I've tried are so inconsistent and skippy. Maybe I'm just getting bad ones or the ones sold in Walmart/Michaels are different in some way than imported ones but they just do not write smooth lines at all for me.
Or maybe I just press too hard when I'm writing.
I've found that pilot juice pens work a lot better for my own particularities in writing.

My preference of pen/led size is 0.7 mm, and I’m on the look out for mechanical pen bodies with a squishy grip. Unfortunately the one mentioned only sells 0.5 mm bodies😭
You should look into the Pilot Dr. Grip pens. The grip is really comfortable and it comes in both medium and fine point. The Pilot Dr. Grip pencils are comfortable to write with also, but the Center of Gravity model/collection is the only one that uses 0.7 mm lead.
