Car was perfectly fine for 4 years without changing it. Fianlly get around to it and now it stuters on first gear and a little on second . Maunal car. Today finally smelled the eggs smell trying to push it on the highway . Now evap code comes up with short bank 1 circut but changed sensor 2 times now. NGK brand
I went for about 2+ years with a finicky front O2 Sensor on a 2002 Solara SLE V6 1MZ-FE (MCV20). No misfire though.....It would trigger the engine warning light but reset to good on the next startup. Gas mileage did go down as I have driven this car for 22 years but not to the point of expensive repair before my 300,000 mile service. The rear O2 sensor under the car is factory still and they rarely go out. As to the recent real problem(s) was a misfire started a month ago on startup in the garage due to other factors according to my repair shop. Oldish spark plugs, bad ignition wire set, and two bad direct ignition coil. My car shook with two cylinders out I thought it could be about 9 things but in reality this was not a heavy fix. Repaired now and ready to go after the 400,000 mile mark.
For example, if there was a poor O2 sensor reading due to excessive soot in the chamber, and it’s suggested that cleaning the sensor would solve the problem and let's say that it would do the job, would it be okay to also perform decarbonization to address the excessive soot and other particles as well? Should the decarbonization be done before or after cleaning the sensor, and would it be necessary to clean the sensor again after decarbonization?
Mine are welded in with rust. Please can you tell me if its OK to run with them unplugged, just for diagnostics to see if that can help determine if they even need replaced. I am getting sensor codes but can't tell if its bad sensors or wiring P0158 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Bank 2 Sensor 2 P0300 Multiple Random Misfire P0152 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Bank 2 Sensor 1 P0157 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Bank 2 Sensor 2
I have a toyota camry 2018 se 2.5l I have misfire cyl 2. Code and also random misfire I believe p3000 I have new fuel pump and filter. New Injectors.. new spark plugs. swapped coils to check if it changes to different cylinder code. Checked leakage for valves. Good. Intake sensor good. MAF sensor is good. Haven't checked compression. But when I disconnect cylinder 2 while misfiring it doesn't change meaning seems that exactly still the area where the problem resides. All others (1,3,4) when disconnected cause it to misfire even more.. I do also get engine power reduced sign on dash. May my 02 sensor for any faulty reason possibly be causing my ECU to think it's running rich or lean and be causing the random misfire and the specific cylinder 2 misfire?? Without popping up a 02 sensor code on OBD 2 scanner???
Hi mate, i have a issue with the transmission of my CRV RD1. Gear 1 & 2 picking up but it doesn't shift to 3rd&4th gear and stalls while the engines on.press of the gas and it raves without moving.. any advise
Ok I don't have a code reader and have run into an issue with my 2011 camry. The first start up in the morning is great. The engine cranks right up. After I have driven it for a few miles 10, 20 or 30 and let it sit for a moment it cranks, cranks and cranks then eventually starts up. I recently put in a new battery and replaced the air filter. Any suggestions where to go next? I've been told the fuel pump, but the car idles and runs great other than the start up on a warm engine.
@@AutocornerdPros Ok thanks for your help in helping me diagnose my car issue. I went ahead and replaced the fuel pump and everything seems to be working great. Around $400 because I couldn't find the exact replacement for my car anywhere else, but that's ok as long as it works.
Can this be why my dodge ram 1500 has a hard time to start? I have to try n turn it over bout 3 times before it starts. N sometimes i can smell fuel when im tryin to start it
They communicate with the ECU so that engine runs efficiently. Otherwise, it won’t be silky smooth drive😬 would you like if your car starts shaking suddenly while having a nice long drive with someone special😅
Which do you prefer, completely mechanical cars with no electronics but 10-15 gas mileage, or cars with electronics that need replacing after 100K miles but 25-30 gas mileage?

Check fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve

I am getting sensor codes but can't tell if its bad sensors or wiring
P0158 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Bank 2 Sensor 2
P0300 Multiple Random Misfire
P0152 Oxygen Sensor Circuit High Bank 2 Sensor 1
P0157 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Low Bank 2 Sensor 2
Difficult to tell. Since you said sensor has rust, so chances are that it could be bad. To test connector, measure voltage across its pins
Nicely explained sir

Hi, I have video on torque convertor and shift solenoid. Please check them out
Excellent

Fuel pump, filter or fuel injector. They could be problem

Glad it fixed for you
Can a bad 02 sensor makes makes engine rattle when accelerating?
Yes they do but could be other factors as well
Can this be why my dodge ram 1500 has a hard time to start? I have to try n turn it over bout 3 times before it starts. N sometimes i can smell fuel when im tryin to start it
Not necessarily. Could be other factors like faulty or leaking fuel injectors or bad MAF sensor
Lol just got the P0031 error code.
Did you manage to fix?
Can an oxygen sensor cause car to shut down while driving ?
Also takes two hours for it to start up again after it shuts off
Crank no start when hot after driving
Hey, I have separate video on this issue. Please open my channel and see. Thanks
Why do we need this idiotic sensors, can the car ve simple without all this?????????
