Talking about feelings in any capacity usually overwhelms me to the point of tears! Angry? Cry. Happy? Cry. Touched? Cry. It’s a big reason why I avoid those conversations at all cost. 😂 Embarrassing and also hard to communicate when crying lol.
Yesss! Sometimes I just want to be mad 😂 and then tears come and people react like I'm sad. Ugh. Or some will say I'm sensitive. I'm not!!! I'm overwhelmed I even have a voice. I think we hold it all in for so long, that we're just glad someone is listening, so we cry 😂
Sounds incredibly rough. I've often heard bpd low time described as internal 3rd degree burns everywhere. Don't know if you see it that way, but I remember thinking that would be impossible some days. Do you know where the breakdown now stems from? Do you have to cycle through it or can you help the process in some way?
@@superanxietychick7035 I recently divorced my husband of 30 years and then made the mistake of jumping into a relationship with someone who had been my friend. Turns out his a severe narcissist. It didn’t go well and crushed me. And yes, it’s like having the emotional equivalent of 3rd degree burns all over my body. I was agoraphobic for 5 months, barely leaving my house and when I did I had panic attacks. I’ve worked paste that now but I’m still very sensitive. Trying to figure out how I’m going to live my life without an established career at age 54.
You will cry at first Do not fight it or apologize. If you do either it only makes you stuck in the pattern longer. In time, you will not cry as you stand up for yourself.

I’m going through a “breakdown” phase so I get overwhelmed by everything and cry.
I don’t have an emotional “skin” right now. I’m just all raw nerves.
