This is more like EWF or KC, I grew up listening to the J5 from Day 1 and I just don't think of them when listening to this or anything of Bruno. Anderson is sultry and fits right in with the vintage soul/disco/R&B vibe. As for comparing the two songs, you can't, it's two totally different songs and that is what makes an album. smh
I’ve heard other people say Anderson’s voice is more unique than Bruno’s. Can you name 1 singer who sounds like Bruno Mars? And don’t say Michael Jackson because his influence can be heard in damn near everyone. Anderson sounds good on these tracks but let’s not slip into the typical over-hyping that makes it seem like he’s better than Bruno. They are similar artists, but let’s not play like he can out-sing Bruno.
Is this a general question or are you directing it towards me? Cuz I never said Anderson was “better than” Bruno or that “he can out-sing” him. I stated that Anderson’s tone is super unique and for me that adds some extra seasoning to the songs. Me praising Anderson isn’t me taking away from Bruno’s contributions; they both bring their own set of skills and they’re both important to the groups success. But that’s just if you were directing the question to me.
