How much did the complete replacement off the drive motor cost?!- this is a detail most of your viewers and myself are interested in. Yes it’s one of the last steps. The torque specifications are very high so it must be torqued on the ground after the wheels have been installed 👍🏻
What’s the repair time once parts were received? Did you acquire this expertise by trial and error or were you formally trained by Tesla?

Could a car wash damage a front drive unit? Mine failed and coincidentally as I was leaving the car wash.
No the car wash wouldn't damage the front drive unit it would have been a coincidence.
